环球网王欣报道，日前，一名阿拉伯裔美籍大学生在自己的上发现了一部GPS追踪
器，并拍下照片发到网上。48小时后，美国联邦调查局（FBI）承认在对这名学生进行
秘密跟踪，竟还理直气壮地要求他将设备归还。这一事件在美国社会引起了较大争议。
据美国《连线》网站消息，这名被追踪的学生名叫亚瑟尔#·阿比比（Yasir Afifi
），今年20岁，在美国加利福尼亚州的一所学校上学。阿比比向媒体透露，自己在车上
发现了可疑设备后，在第一时间就在网上贴出了照片。FBI工作人员在48小时内找到了
阿比比，并声称他有“从事恐怖活动”的嫌疑，因此决定对他实施三到六个月的秘密跟
踪。
报道称，FBI不但没有为自己的追踪行为向阿比比道歉，还理直气壮地向他索回了
车上安装的追踪设备。面对美国媒体的采访时，FBI旧金山总部发言人皮特表示：“我

【明報專訊】加拿大醫學專家發現﹐人們在年少時受體罰﹐在長大後出現精神毛病的風
險較大。研究人員建議家長﹐不要用體罰方式管教子女﹐應用獎勵方式諄諄善誘孩童。
《兒科學》期刊(Pediatrics)周一發表研究報告﹐分析上述問題。它說﹐抑鬱、焦慮、
酗酒、吸毒和人格障礙等問題﹐可能與體罰有關。
體罰的定義是推、抓、拍、打等肢體語言﹐但不涉及更嚴重的虐待﹐比如肉體虐待、性
虐待、精神虐待﹐漠視肉體、精神生活所需﹐或接觸到親密伴侶的暴力活動等。
報告作者、緬尼托巴大學(University of Manitoba)社區健康科學系的阿菲菲(Tracie
Afifi)說﹕「研究確實指向這個方向﹐那就是說﹐兒童一概不應體罰﹐不管年齡大小。
我們在斟酌政策和計劃時﹐應該考慮這一點﹐這樣才能保護兒童﹐避免可能的傷害。」
