time. Ageing in humans refers to a multidimensional process of physical,
psychological, and social change. Some dimensions of ageing grow and expand

为啥引维基百科，因为我看的很多review都是一上来就说我们对aging的研究和理论如
何如何了，大家对aging的理解如何如何，很少涉及原始定义，所以我觉得也只能用时

a，aging是否是个programmed precess。很多人认为aging may be affected rather t
han be regulated。也就是说，aging就像机械磨损一样，是个被动的过程，它不是受主
动调控的，不过这个被动的过程可以被干扰。
b，低等生物的aging和高等生物的aging是否共用类似的机制？如果同意aging是个prog
rammed的过程，就不会有第二个问题了。但因为第一个问题有争论，所以也就有了第二
个问题的争论。有人认为人的aging机制和低等生物的并不一样，比如目前在低等生物中
，认为抑制insulin like signaling可以延缓aging，但在人的案例里面，对早衰的一种
治疗办法就是激素治疗，包括IGF-1，这似乎看上去和低等动物中做出来的结果是矛盾的
。

than controlled。这也是现在很多pathway做到下游就没法再按传统通路A--B--C的方
式做下去的原因。DR,我同意你的看法，算是一个影响因素，但不是什么多激动人心的
东西。reproductive system非常非常有意思，不过不抱什么期望怎么帮助aging研究摆
脱困境。这涉及到进化的问题了，到底aging是不是受进化选择。
有些人依旧按照传统pathway的方法往死了做，包括gary和canthia目前都有一部分工作
属于这类，其实意义已经不大了，这俩的徒弟，大部分都如此，可想而知就更惨了。
所以，我觉得andy很聪明，其实个人认为他最重要的发现不是他那些好看的cns通路文
章， 而是他几年前的science以及最近的cell的工作，涉及怎么将insulin 通路和
aging相关的疾病联系到一起，其实这些工作反应的是对aging的认识，自然也会影响到

几条说明:
1.此方法只适用于hertz avis enterprise和budget 其他公司的没研究
2.如果你到了25岁,也看看吧,每次可以省差不多20%左右,算ok的deal吧作为一个不到25

Antagonistic pleiotropy也是我最喜欢的一个观点。只是在现代文明时代中（没有了
原始社会时自然界的残酷选择和淘汰，例如来自天敌和捕食者的威胁），许多长寿基因
得以保存下来，并且一代一代的繁衍着。当然整个人类的mortality rate 还是没有改
变 (只是每个国家地区人们的寿命有很大的差异)。
另外，我觉得研究早衰模型或者自然衰老取决与项目所要解决的问题。如果是研究the
mechanisms of aging or senescence,早衰模型就不太适合。如果是研究age-

我觉得最近几年把aging和reproductivity联系起来的工作挺有希望的看着。。这个现象
早就知道 但是最近才有分子机理出来 要是真的搞清楚了也许能帮助我们理解aging到底
有什么precise regulation没有 Kenyon和Ruvkun labs都有些很不错的paper
我也觉得在aging和DR之间做的太多了 这个说不定会有很好的市场前景 但是说到aging
的本质DR未必能贡献很多

. Cai Lab is very strong on the inflammation/hypothalamus function/NF-kB/
Diabetes and ageing. Actually we don't know clearly if there are "trigger or
switch" in our body to control or execute system ageing.This paper
partially answer the question.
Also, many environmental factors influence ageing. Ageing is systemic "
phenotype", maybe, different tissues have different mechanisms to regulate
ageing.

我试了一下，结果如下：
Odds ratio:
1.18-27 0.214
2.28-37 0.356

5. ....
如果不分段，age 的 odds ratio=1.047,
如果在SAS code里面加上 unit=10, age 的 odds ratio =1.584
所以，请问age 这里应不应该分段啊，万分感激！！！ |

除此之外，还有average age on open accounts，关掉早期的卡也会有负面影响。。。
至于什么分母算分子不算，至少我在bureau里从来没有看到过这样的计算方式。 |

影响一个本质上不可控的过程是个大问题 光pull out几个基因已经意思不大了 因为已
经没什么人怀疑aging至少是受某些genetics影响的 倒是找到全新的conserved的影响a
ging的factor也许能提供新思路 这就是我为啥喜欢那个reproductivity的原因
做disease确实不错～我有空去看看Dillin的paper。做aging vs neurodegeneration说
