在过2个周末(09/11~13)是Colorado state big-way record attempts. 大概六七十个skydivers在空中拼图. 这个在Longmont机场, 到时候有4架飞机同时出动. 估计场面会比较壮观. |

B-2隐形轰炸机, F-16眼镜蛇, F-18C大黄蜂等，有兴趣的可以去看看。不过，与去年不
同的是，今年没有Thunder Bird飞行表演队。 |

Flied in mostly to see Blue Angel airshow (for the NOLA), though the show was canceled due to high sea etc.
So spent most time wandering around the French Quarter - not bad, and the weather is much nicer compared with Florida right now. |

发帖数: 598 | 37 Dayton是飞机发明者Wright兄弟的故乡，每年在这里都会举行Air Show. 以前只是
在电视上看到这些show, 感觉比较好玩，虽然不是军事爱好者，看热闹的劲头还是
有的。正好今年是飞机诞生100周年，ohio成立200周年，规模比以往更大，所以就
起了去Air show看一看的机会。
从Lansing出发，到Dayton有273miles的距离，不算太远。早上5:30出发，先走96E,
过了Detroit, 走75N, 路过Toledo，接着就到Dayton international airport, 每
年的Air show好象都在这里举行。
停车场就设在机场附近的草地上, 我们10点到的时候，已经趴满了不少车。我们带了
椅子和不少吃的东西，事实证明还是很有用的。觉得最好先用椅子占个好地方，把
东西放下来，然后就可以慢慢的到处逛了。可能我们来的有点晚，靠近跑道的地方早
已经被人占满了， 错过了最佳观测角度，实在遗憾。
根据节目单， 正式飞行表演要12:00才开始。趁着空隙，我们到处转了一转，到处都
是各式各样的飞机，新的旧的，螺旋桨的，喷气式，漂亮的，古怪的，看的人眼花 |

fly in Minnesota and drive from Minneapolis to Oshkosh. His plan is to fly
in from CA Friday night 07/29 and drive to Wausau, stay there over night.
Drive to Oshkosh on Saturday and see the show. Coming back Sunday. Please PM
me if you are interest and I will send you my friend email.

每年7月份burwell的rodeo，8-9月份的airshow就以经是很大的event了。

mall on the pier (you can see it on the boardwalk), artificial beach on the
top floor, a big music fountain shows every hour. En, outlets... for beach
you should drive another 30 minutes to ocean city. |
