buy a TMO micro/nano SIM and activate the $30/month plan.

Lyca uses TMO network but someone claims its service is not as good as TMO,
especially at some west coast airports. You friends can try Lyca first.
Amazon has its SIM card at very low price, <$1 each.

These H20 Wireless refill cards have a shelf life of 60 days. This means
that you have to load the refill PIN on your prepaid phone within 60 days
from the date of purchase. The actual airtime minute expiration starts only
on the day that you load it on your phone.
