今天去McNear's Beach County Park.天时断时续地下了一下午的雨。我在时断时续的雨
中钓了四个小时，一无所获。虽然没有渔获，还是比呆在家里强：
试验了一下刚买的PENN 330LD reel。这个reel一看上去很粗糙，但是用起来，觉得很皮
实。cast 也还不错。
abu Garcia 6600D6(磁铁刹车) 今天出了一点问题，本来收线旋转的时候没有任何声音，
除非把alarm打开。今天收线
的时候，即使把alarm收回去，还是有一些声音，手感也不顺，感觉alarm没有完全收好。
回家后壮着胆子拆开看了看：alarm发出声音是一个簧片和一个齿轮发出的（类似一个棘
轮机构）。簧片是用一个螺钉固定的，如果固定得不够紧，就会在alarm收起的时候也会
碰到齿轮。把螺钉松一下，调整一下簧片的位置，就好了。第一次打开，感觉很多地方设
计真是巧妙。
至于在雨中奋斗的十来个人们，几乎都是冲着sturgeon去的。有一位“阿明勾”抓到了一

想要的颜色，打印了email出来，第一个周末去了第二家dealer。
之前谈的很好，但是说有个什么alarm要额外加钱，我们当时不懂是什么东西，然后说
不是要match么，他说match可以，但是这个alarm要拆掉。我当时不同意，于是就先走
了。之后他们的internet sales跟我打电话问情况，解释了一通，说这个alarm确实是
额外放的，然后车本身的alarm是不会拆的。。所以第二个周末去了
然后简单谈了一下，等了快2个小时终于可以进去贷款了。。
贷款的时候有个什么额外的fee 300多，之前没弄过，觉得也算正常。。买房的时候也
有过贷款的fee。。。。
anyway。。。。最后出门价格说是20350 但是算上贷款的也差不多20700 2012 accord
lx， 算是满便宜的了。
6月30号买的。估计是月底清场吧。。。给大家分享一下 |

我打听了一下，mornitor的比如ADT啥的，贵也就罢了，关键有false alarm，而且
False Alarm又找不到你，他就call 911了，然后就得给政府掏钱。
而且这玩意如果半夜false alarm个几次，那简直太痛苦了。
我现在想买一套这样的系统自己安装，不用mornitor的，但是系统上会自动通过给我发
短信或者打手机报警。大家有什么建议吗？特别是质量比较好，False Alarm比例比较
低的。
或者大家用其他什么方案吗?

第一，那帮UNDER要再晚上12点一后开PARTY扰民，我会先去敲门告诉IT他们已经侵
犯别人了，如果IT半小时后还这样，我会马上报警(911不管，就CALL SCHOOL POLICE)
我以前学校的警察就管，而且还关的厉害，我们好几次挨TICKET：-)
但是第2个是你不对，如果住SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE，PROPERTY LINE 之内防火是
各人的问题，但是APARTMENT很多人住在一个建筑物里，防火已经是公共安全的范畴
了，BUILDING不安ALARM那才是违法呢。火灾的头30-60秒是最关键的时间，因为烟
的蔓延速度非常快，大部分火灾中丧生的人都是被烟呛死而不是被烧死的，所以有
效的报警装置是非常重要的，你们BUILDING安的是那种连到一个CONTROL CENTER的
FIRE ALARM SYSTEM，一旦发生火灾救火车会很短时见内赶到的，比现打电话要快的
多， 你可以和他们COMPLAIN ALARM TOO SENSITIVE，但烟感式是现有的各种ALARM里最
有效的(热感式往往会延误报警)，你注意炒菜时要通风(油烟和抽烟 |

发帖数: 142 | 19 昨晚两点，睡梦中，一阵Alarm传来，以为是闹钟，伸手关闹钟，ld说不是是房子里的
Alarm.原来是smoke detector的，每个房间的都在响，包括走廊的，五六个一起声音像
要冲破耳鼓。
浑身打个激灵，ld察看了里里外外连loft也看了，没火没烟。心里很不踏实，打了911
。很快救火车来了。察看了一番，没发现问题。换了smoke detector的电池，好了。可
是那些Alarm响的时候家里原屋主安装的Alarm System也开始报警了。那个door chime
on/off怎么也转换不了，试着拔电源去电池也不见效。现在每次出入开门关门，警报都
要响5分钟。
版上达人能否指点如何消除警报，今天要是搞不定，那个声音真是搞得人的神经也快崩
溃了。

2005 Camry.
启动时，能听到卡的一声，engine一点都不响。开车灯，慢慢亮，明显没有平时亮得快
，但是还是亮。
试过Jump start，但是一连上别的车，警报就响。也启动不了。
打电话给dealer，他们说可能两个问题同时出现了：电池不够，alarm is activated.
Activated alarm prevent the car from starting up.
但是试了他们给的deactive alarm的办法，trun key to on position twice,但是
alarm还是响啊？曾么办？ |

还有虫子？去年记得daylight saving 结束的时候alarm就有问题，当时俺想估计修好
了。
结果今年元旦第二天我老人家要出差，6点多的飞机，我用我的和LD的两个iphone
alarm，结果两个都根本没响，6点多我还睡着呢，所以就悲剧了。上网一查才知道还是
alarm的老问题。
难道apple还没有修好这问题，他们吃干饭的啊？下回我出差还的去买个alarm clock？ |

后开展levee ceremony……
这个难道不能测心律啊？。。。当时某人offer给我买一个，主要是能monitor your
sleep depth when it is closer to the alarm you set, and wake you up when you

。还谈什么Transmission问题。
我觉得是STARTER的问题。在LZ这次不能发动车的头几天，Alarm系统已经有异常了。她
的车的alarm system可能有starter kill的功能。如果pull the entire alarm system，
把alarm system整个先给disabled，那应该就能启动了。
如果LZ的车以前从来没有难启动的问题，那坏Spark Plug的可能性也很小。 |

数都是false alarm，X和J我看都不看。
我不认为GPS enabled是个好主意。很多时候警察喜欢藏在有false alarm的地方抓人。
还是让V1来告诉你有多少个信号，都是什么band，在哪个方向，然后由你自己做判断更
好些。
我在另外一台慢车上用的是Cobra GPS enabled。曾经放在V1旁边side by side实验过
。V1的performance明显更好。在LA SF之间的I-5探测Ka band的 CHP，V1通常能够提前
1个mile就发现。经常是V1探测的信号强度以及是2-3个灯了，那个Cobra才跟刚睡醒似
的嘟嘟嘟开始叫 |

Passport 9500 is the one with GPS technology to reduce false alarms? I'm not
that big into this technology --- what if a police car lies in wait where
the false alarm is?
The V1 gives source counts, which lets you know if a police car is in the

前天夜里12点多临睡前，由于窗外风大，不知道谁家车的alarm开始叫。以前这种事情也
经常发生，我就睡着了，1点多的时候醒过来，发现ld还没睡着，原来那个alarm居然一
直再响。ld一个多小时的经验总结发现，该alarm30次（类似单纯的汽车喇叭声）为一组
，每次3组，每组间隔10秒。我一看情况严重了，想起一个朋友说过类似情况可以打911
。于是很激动的播打了平生第一次911，接线大妈告诉我，一会警察会到，我就躺下了，
果然一会就不叫了。
我暗叹美国警察效率高啊，可惜好景不长，alarm继续，20分钟后再打911，告知警察在
路上。这次我不敢上床了，趴窗口看着那狂叫的车，10分钟后，一辆警车来了，警察下
来到那还在叫的车边上看看，车不叫了，警察立刻上车走了。我再次对警察的手段佩服
不已。过一会，alarm又顽强的响了，三打911，大妈告诉我，你想跟那个警察通话吗？
我一想还是算了，当时已经折腾到3点多了，遂拒绝了给大妈手机号码的要求。
也由于折腾的累了，开始迷迷糊糊的睡了。昨天本来想来这里跟大家请教一下遇到类似

不过火警训练是每年都要的。
火警响了，第一就是关门，每个门都是防火防烟的。医院的人员配置不可能做到搬离病
人。因为火警一响，就不能用电梯。现在的病人，至少1/3是不能自己走的。很多都是
完全卧床的。我们一般是6个病人一个护士，8-12个病人一个护工，能照顾独立行走的
病人走就不错了。完全卧床的病人走防火通道那是不可能的，除非是FIREFIGHTER来背
。所以只能按POLICY来做。
当然大部分是假火警。但是真要是本楼层着火了，估计只能是照顾能行动的病人逃离，
抢救剩下的病人只能是消防员的工作了。
平常把一个不能行动的病人从CART移动到床上都要4个人。你怎么抢救。
除了关门，碰到突发的火灾，所有的医院POLICY都是R〉A〉C〉E

Key findings
ISHI 2008 scores for Indian states range from 13.6 (“serious”) for
Punjab to 30.9 (“extremely alarming”) for Madhya Pradesh, indicating
substantial variability among states in India. Punjab is ranked 34th when
compared to the GHI 2008 worldwide country ranking, while Madhya Pradesh is
ranked 82nd. In this state more people suffer from hunger than in Ethiopia
or Sudan. 60 percent of the children are undernourished.
