left the mount quitely. i mean how can he show any emtional at that
time? the game was still tied at 5-5 after 11 innings when he left
the mount. of course,

1. Yankees 和 Phillies 最大的差距在 bullpen。雖然 Yankees 的 middle reliever
s 在 ALDS 和 ALCS 表現沒有球季中來的好，特別是 setup Phil Hughes 引起不少人的
質疑，但是整體來說還是較 Phillies 為優。特別是在 closer 的部份，Lidge 甚至在
第五場九局上半三分領先的情況下被跳過。當然我們可以說 Manuel 因為他在前一天投
了 30 球所以不讓他連續出賽，可是 Lidge 事實上在第五戰九局情況緊張的時候起來熱
身了。更何況 Lidge 在那之前整個 World Series 只在第四戰投了一局而已，與其說體
力問題不如說第四戰丟的那三分讓 Manuel 不敢用他。當 Madson 也在領先三分的情況
下投出 .600 的 OBP，若非 Jeter 的雙殺打恐怕不容易下莊的情況下，Manuel 幾乎無
將可用。第六戰賽前我認為 Yankees 有投手優勢的原因就在於現在的 Pedro Martinez
再怎麼打不到也撐不久，Yankees 只要前半段 |

了本赛季one of the worst loses了吧。早知道应该去看第二场的。
Yankees已经从03年开始就没有在regular season赢过和LAA的series了(去年的ALCS赢
得也很悬)，真是一物降一物。

现在养着Andy和Arod估计就是给最后那几场+季后赛用的。本来弄来胖猫王就是为了休
息Tex的，结果没想DH又tmd伤了。
对NL不好说，但是我觉得就算算上NL，今年最大的障碍还是Rays，丫们打球太功利了。
所以到最后实在不成也只能用野卡进playoff了，反正打ranger和twins其实难度差不多
不太多。还是看ALCS怎么搞掉Rays了。

to come. I cannot think of another CS/WS series that features
these many top of the rotation pitchers. If we think Halladay/
Oswalt/Hamels trio is good, for the month of September and
the postseason, the Giants trio (Lincecum/Cain/Sanchez) was
actually BETTER. They were the reason why Giants can overcome
a 7-game deficit and eventually won NLW. Not only this, the Giants
trio had a combined sub 2 ERA in season series against Phillies.

durable, consistent year after year. But I have a very hard
time convincing myself that he is a one-a-generation type of
pitcher. In this Yankees rotation, I definitely like Andy
Pettitte more. |
