周二的股市以更坚实的增长幅度和更高的交易量完美的开始了今年的第三季度。这一天
纳指铭刻上了14年来的新高，标普指数也接近新高。
截至收盘，纳指上涨1.1％，而标普指数上涨0.7％。道琼指数上涨0.8％，其收盘价离
17,000就差44点。同周一相比，周二的成交量也是不错的上涨，有迹象表明机构投资者
现在做了不少提升股价的工作。
具有广泛意义的是看涨纳指的投资者与看跌者的比例大约是2比1，同时多于2比1的投资
者看好纳指。
IBD50上涨1.7％，其中Salix Pharmaceuticals（NASDAQ: SLXP）助力不少，该公司由
于正面的药物试验结果而使得股价猛增14％。今天IBD50近一半的股票跑赢纳斯达克。

周三是股市连续第二天在温和放量上涨，这使标普指数达到历史新高。
这一天纳指静静的上涨，涨幅为0.4%。现在它离52周新高就一步之遥。标普指数微涨0.
2%，稍微高于先纳指年初至今的7.5%的收益。
周三的上涨要归功于生物技术板块的强势，石油和天然气勘探股票继续保持上升趋势。
建筑、航空和汽车零售品牌股票也在上涨。
但芯片行业屈服于沉重的获利回吐，这包括半导体制造、IC设计和芯片设备板块都下跌
惨重，IBD的计算机网络、电信、光纤和计算机软件和安全板块也不例外。
这难怪从广义上讲纳斯达克市场乏善可陈，而且亏损股票略微超过上涨的股票。
纽约证券交易所的股票在技术层面显为更加健康，道琼斯工业平均指数的图表也是如此
，纽交所提前下滑线提升，每13只下跌的股票就有18只个股在上涨。

周五股市遏制了一周的涨幅，而股市指数以较低的成交量回落。纳斯达克综合指数和标
准普尔500指数下跌了0.5%，而道琼斯工业平均指数跌掉了0.7%。
IBD50跌了0.3%。
各个板块的成交量都下滑。
损失是广泛的，但Amazon.com（NASDAQ: AMZN）的第二季度业绩的10%的跌幅拖累了大
盘指数。Amazon.com在纳斯达克的比重为1.9%，同时也是在S＆P500指数的组成部分。

还不如买biotech，diversify之后risk/reward还是很高的，只要有几个公司搞出一个
blockbuster drug出来，在未来十年收益都是十几倍以上，还能有专利保证垄断市场一
二十年
自从google IPO以来，S&P500里面只有13个股票beat了google的return，其中接近一半
是biotech，请看下表：
