不错，中国有夫妻之间有互相抚养一说，那你去搜搜，是在什么情况下法院才会管？
那一条是针对夫妻一方丧失了劳动能力，防止遭到遗弃规定的。
你有手有脚，凭什么不工作，靠另一方养活。
美国也是一样，如果你有劳动能力，却奢望法官判另一方给你生活费，简直是妄想。
在美国要求Temporary Alimony一般是要在离婚过程中进行的，不是在婚姻内。就是说
离婚已经开始，却没结束时可以要求Temporary Alimony，但离婚后却不一定得到
permanent alimony，这取决于双方的经济条件和工作能力。
注意是离婚法官管的。

多离婚的也多，就我们组竟然一半是离婚或者2昏。这个抚养费其实是2部分，child
support和alimony。我们公司接到court order之后，就直接扣这个人的pay check。可
是问题在于，到底这个child support和alimony是多少钱呢？
先说child support，我发现超过每月1000刀的竟然只有10几人，很多人要付的child
support只有300刀－500刀的范围。alimony也差不多这个样子。我们公司上千员工啊。
我看到这个数据挺惊讶的，后来问了美国同事，他们的解释是小孩上public school不
要钱，那么给个300刀就很正常。可是如果是老中的小孩子要学才艺什么的，怎么可能
够呢？还有alimony也一样，除非是大款老公，普通人的话，法官也不会判太多，而且
多的话男方可以跟法官appeal，比如举出一些hardship的证据，要求减免啥的。反正想

家不工作，那么另一方有义务付alimony帮助在家的那一位重新返回社会，但是alimony
也只会是几年，不是一辈子。法官会让年轻人自己工作养活自己。Alimony数额比较高
，是因为支付方可以抵税。
child support一般都很抵，因为支付方不能抵税。joint custody不一定是指50/50.
Child support一般是根据小孩每个星期跟双方呆的时间和另一方的收入计算的，跟
joint custody没有多大关系。
另外，那个no removal order是指小孩不能离开NJ, 不是指你。这种order一般是为了
避免一方父母kidnap小孩，然后就不回来了。一般如果另一方同意就能把小孩带出州。
唉，美国就是这样，小孩子是两个人的，为这种事打官司的不少。
然后protetive order & restraining order, 你要小心了，违反那种order是刑事罪，
不仅仅是民事。
你只有想办法弄到sole legal/physical custody才能比较安心：

All right, let me help you. Although I think your original post has some
issue with logic, as already pointed out by some people, I believe your
numbers.
$80,000 annual income - $30,000 alimony = $50,000 taxable income.(Alimony is
tax deductible.)
