历时两个多月的找工作圆满结束。最后决定去T家。相信自己的选择没有错。
背景:
CS fresh PhD。BS和MS是EE的。
战果:
从一月底开始一共投了二十多家简历,前前后后收到9个phone或者on campus
interview。拿到8个on site interview。 另一个至今没消息。On site interview后
拿到5个offer,包括M, F, W, T, A(一个小公司)。
过程:
一月底开始陆陆续续在linkedin上,mitbbs上找人帮refer。大部分公司refer后没有回
音。二月初Microsoft和Amazon来学校career fair。投了简历。后来收到Microsoft的
on campus interview。Amazon至今没有回音。On campus interviw是在二月下旬。后
来三月初收到Microsoft的on site通知。但是告知是面SDET职位。回邮件给recruiter
说不想面SDET,只想面SDE职位。后来帮换成了SDE。三月五号开始最后一大批的投简历
。也都是找朋友或者linkedin上的人帮refer的。... 阅读全帖

我和大家讲讲我找工作的教训吧。这里有太多的大牛,大大牛的写过神一般的经验。
我们这些凡人,是从自己或者别人的教训里走出来的。
1. 第一轮hr的沟通,几乎是不应该failed。除非工作许可之内的有问题。
但是通过这轮面试对你的个性会有一些了解。如果这轮总是failed, 那要多和人用英文
沟通吧。有recruiter电话进来当练习口语,态度一定要positive。除非你是大牛,只有
别人抢你的份,否者的话,不要先把什么绿卡,opt,工资范围啥的先搬出来,要先
通过面试,让人特别想要你,才有谈条件或者请人帮忙的资格。一开始就谈先决条件的
真的会让人不舒服。
2 简历递给了manager, 没中,要么是真的不是manager找的人,要么简历在多修改几遍。
那些job description中出现的关键词,会的,都加到简历里去。不会的,有的是半天
就学会的,就去学些,可以多加几个关键词,惹眼啊。
3. 第一轮的电话面试,无非简单的coding或者描述你的项目。
1) coding大家天天练习,没什么好说的。coding要是过不了,只有先刷题喽。过一段
时间不刷题,大家都会手生。大概都有过这题... 阅读全帖

Not much side effect. Most of them are just Potassium Nitrate, a naturally
occurring salt.
But if you are on private water, better not. One of the neighbors got high
nitrate (not over threshold yet), and they are wondering aloud how could
that happen. Well, for the harmony of the neighborhood, we never mentioned
we saw another neighbor used liquid stump remover.
The right way here is using the granules, and covering up with mulch, so
that the rainwater won't wash it away.

。用我妈的话来说就是等于没有,看见我泵奶就着急。宝宝吸不到东西,根本就不想吸
了。很多人推荐各种按摩方法,似乎都是对付堵奶的。我只在产后5天涨过一次奶,用
奶泵泵过以后就再也没涨过奶,乳房一直瘪瘪的,我想这意味着我根本没产奶。怀孕前
是C杯,怀孕后增加到D,没想到却是不产奶的草牛!也许我根本不配称草牛,版上的草
牛们都可以让宝宝吃个半饱,可我的奶还不够塞牙缝。
已经试过了通草鱼汤,猪蹄,牛尾,鸡汤,米酒,mothers milk等方子,快绝望了
,一想到这个就哭。不知道我这种情况是不是有病?看中医是否会有效?或者缺了某种
激素?求各种建议。
