英国广播公司在日本的风险评估小组警告称，当地时间15日(星期二)凌晨4点左右
，日本福岛核电站当地的风向会发生改变，吹向内陆。
风向是评定核泄漏有可能对环境造成危害的重要因素。稍早些时候，日本核安全部
门发言人表示，核电站地面空间无风，核电站上方风向由西向东，意味着风是朝海上吹
去。
日本11日发生强烈地震后，福岛核电站冷却系统发生故障，当局采取注入海水等降
温措施防止危险发生，但1号和3号反应堆依然接连发生爆炸，2号和4号反应堆的冷却系
统也有问题。分析指出，两次爆炸的原因都是氢气导致。
爆炸发生后，东京都知事石原慎太郎14日在记者会上下达指示，要求相关机构在东
京测定辐射量。

日本核泄漏发生之后，政府发出公告称，不能为民众检查核辐射情况。于是许多人
便自发组织起来。东京市民Takeo Hayashida就参与了类似的一个民间组织，在他儿子
的棒球场附近测试核辐射情况。
据《纽约时报》报道，日本政府认为，东京距离福岛灾区250多公里，因此民众没
有必要担心核辐射。但Takeo Hayashida测试结果显示，棒球场土壤中的铯辐射值相当
于切尔诺贝利受污染地区量值，而棒球场是这个民间组织和核研究中心发现的20多个东
京辐射超标地区中的一个。
