Ski Resort - the only “Ski Resort” in Alaska. It might be small (1400
acres), but 600-900 inch annual snowfall makes this a powder lover’s heaven.
And we all know powder stays like powder in Alaska. The 40 miles drive
from Anchorage along Seward HWY is the most beautiful ride on earth, a pure
eye candy!
A more exciting destination for die hard skier/rider is Valdez, the capital of

今年夏天LD带女儿回国过暑假，俩个多月，我奉命看家护院，修花割草。六月初娘儿俩
一走，哥就没闲着，开始寻思去哪儿一个人散散心。心里一直渴望的则是夏天能去阿根
廷智利滑雪。正好老板和前老板都计划暑假全家Alaska Cruise,吹得口沫横飞。哥心头
一热，上网查了查，七月底到Anchorage机票也就四百多，立马定了票。
等到冷静下来再慢慢定行程的时候，才意识到哎哟妈呀这阿拉斯加怎么嘛都贼贵,机票
可能算是最便宜的开销了。租车已经没啥deal了，最后Full-Size税后11天$850。再查
查旅馆，动辄一晚两三百，看上去还都不咋地。得，咱就一路camping吧，做一回无家
可归的流浪者，省心省钱也省得LP回来罚跪主板。
接着去东岸出差了个把礼拜，还挺累，回来就歇着了。直到出发前两个星期恶补一把各
类书籍，以及在“四海为家”精华区和YouTube上疯狂考古, 一直到临行前一天还是一
头雾水。除了定好Denali里的Campsite之外没有任何具体计划。就这样，我心潮澎湃地
开始了我的“Into the Wild”之旅。

发帖数: 604 | 5 这个周末是alyeska ski最后一个周末开门，还有很多活动，我们当然不会错过。开车
大约四十分钟从anchorage到了alyeska。alyeska 被评为北美 top 10 ski resort 之
一，只可惜每次去都要花不少钱，对于我这种习惯了free skate ski trail 得人，还
是觉得比较贵。
路上我正对领导说听说这里可以看到dall sheep，一抬头就看到山上站着一只，领导没
看见，坚持要打转回头看，没见过世面的家伙！我们打了个u turn 回去看山羊了。
总共8只 dall sheep 站在海边的悬崖上 一边是海一边是刀削似的悬崖，不是到他们怎
么过去的。
看到山上的小白点了吗？

一路上都遇到
相同的几组人...
推荐的是位于girdwood的alyeska resort,此地山清水秀，有alyeska glacier,包含7座
小的
glacier，是酒店的私有区域。大概就是像国内那种度假山庄一样。感觉很安静～酒店
的网站地址是：

缺点是价格不便宜，我们也是偶然定的这边，呆的时间比较短，来不及仔细挖掘。如果
有兴趣可以慢慢

Heritage Ctr & Anchorage Museum. watched diff tribes performing folk dances
on stage and presentation of traditional clothing. then joined guided tour
to see the diff bldg, life style, artifacts, etc. honestly, it was kinda
boring--liked the outside better. :p
Headed down to Portage Glacier in the pm. driving along the Seward H-W-Y (
my GPS pronounced it that way) was one of the many high lights of the trip.

RV 不需要特别驾照的， 我们也是第一次开， 看了别人很多游记， 都说除了停车倒车

Alaska, 源于阿留申语Alyeska, 意为the“Great Land”。对阿拉斯加的第一印象就是
大，无比之大。它是美国面积最大的州，占地172万平方公里，接近美国本土（lower
48）面积的四分之一；是Texas面积的2.5倍，大小和中国新疆维吾尔自治区差不多。美
国20座最高峰，17座在这里，其中Mt.Denali海拔6200米，是北美第一高峰。育空河（
Yukon River）是阿拉斯加的母亲河，全长2000英里，全美第3。阿拉斯加活冰川的数量
也是超过世界其它人类居住地区冰川数量的总和。

coupon book几乎没用到， 现$30出售.
已经用掉的page：
anchorage的三家gift shop的免费gift（btw，gift很烂）

其他的都是没有用的。著名的talkeetna的k2 aviation的小飞机，还有valdez的major
