In the US and EU, publishing good pieces of work with full copyright
protection is much easier and much more profitable than in China. And I
guess that's why only truly amature writers or kids would use these websites
. Many writeups there are really crappy. |

this static keyword doesnt really mean much in this context. only thing it
says is that the definition is within the file scope, unless this is a member
function of a class/struct.
this static is the key for what happens, I am not saying that this code is
applausible but yes, the obj points to the val now. since it is static, it is
used as some global var now.
BTW, i dont think that this is C++ code , looks like some amature C programmer

aspect, xml has nothing new. it's pretty old tech. xml itself means nothing.

XML is not just www, it'll actually affect the programming language and

book I have read was that by Weber, I believe. As to Marx, I have only read
his "Communist Manifesto" and 2 volumns out of 3-volumn "The Capital". Sartre
said Marx's philosophy is insurmountable. Insurmountable or not, as a pure
philosophy system, it might truly be superb. Unfortunately, I'm an amature in
philosophy. Not in a position to judge.
In economics, Marx was at best considered unorthodox. Few schools in USA
