记得我上market那会儿，很少有学校要求teaching demo，有些学校就邀请一些本科生
一起参加job talk。这几年有这个要求的学校越来越多了，我们学校也是。从不同job
candidate的表现来看，确实可以差异不小，最糟糕的情况是不清楚什么是teaching
demo，都没有事先的准备。你能提前想，认真问，仔细准备，就是个很好的开始了。
就我们学校和我们专业的情况来看，知己知彼，百战不殆，可能是最重要的原则。比如
，你可以明确而又礼貌的问问search committee：这个teaching demo需要的时长，二
十分钟还是四十五分钟，你准备起来会很不一样；上课的对象，一年级本科生还是四年
级本科生，他们的兴趣和接受能力差别很大；上课的地点及人数，大的lecture
theater 还是小的 seminar room，你的讲课方式可能也会不同。最重要的是上课的内
容，一般的情况下对方会让你随便讲，比如你自己的job market paper以比较易懂的形
式讲给学生听。但是也有的时候招你来是为了特地讲某一门课，这个时候可能会对你有
特别的期待。

实打实的技术问题是有right or wrong的答案的，behavior question没有什么正确和
错误答案，但结果有有效无效之分。刚出炉的童鞋们往往就问题谈问题，忘了面试中问
的每一句话，都只有一个目的：why should we hire you??
你的答案要主动提供信息，主动引导话题，展现自己的本领，围绕最根本的一个原则：
