If you feel more comfortable with Buc Mark, then get it. Another advantage
for buck mark is it's much easier to field strip than Ruger Mark III.
Which model of Buck mark you are looking at? Don't buy the camper version.
Buck Mark Camper's rear sight base is made of plastic, kind of flimsy.
I have a Buck Mark, very accurate and reliable, although most .22lr Pistols
are picky about ammo, I have yet to find an ammo that it doesn't like. |

But I think Chinese SVD is way way over-priced here in the states and I know
people aren't buying it for its accuracy. The sniper ammo quality is also
not as good as most U.S. & NATO sniper ammo. Most people are buying these
type of rifle for collection and/or "evil-look".

don't carry those anymore because of protest. There are rumors about they

最终下狠心多花点钱买了Daniel Defense的complete Rifle。 枪已经拿到，做工很好，
upper/lower 很紧，no cosmetics issue at all，重量比我在gun show看得其他品牌

轻不少。 也很喜欢long handguard config。
希望大牛们继续帮我推荐一下配件，最好经济实惠，因为买枪已经贵了。

accurate. But cleaning my AR15 is a headache. Last time, I used remington
ammo. It was a lot cleaner. I did not spend much time on cleaning at all . |

, it is also recommended by CMMG, who makes the same conversion kit. I have
tried many kinds of ammo, winchester (HP, RN, etc), different types of
anguila, four kinds of Federal, CCI minimag, etc. Anguila SSS (60gr) is the
most accurate, but considering the cost, Federal bulk wins. It is very
consistent in my gun, I had about 1000 rounds through it so far, only 2-3

I am a newbie too, bought my first gun last May( a cz75).
Yes, that's the ammo I was talking about. If you have issue with miniMag,
you should contact Kimber for warranty service. Not sure about golden bullet
though.
Seems all rimfire semi-auto pistols have it's own favorite ammo, you need to
try different .22lr to find out which one it prefers. |

i found that cci tends to burn cleaner than other range ammo, 9mm burns
cleaner than .22lr and 57x28 is the cleanest burning one (because it's so

The early referenced article about 147GR was pretty old. The major argument is that the velocity is relatively too low to make much impact. However, some new articles in recently years mentioned the technology seems to catch up. The new 147gr ammo is now mainly equipped for law enforcement, because their chance of using a bullet through wall/glass (or some other obstacles) is high.

as to the ammo, for practice, the Federal ammo from walmart is good enough.
for home defense, "kai hua dan"(The round crushes on itself and opens like a flower) is preferable. that's because, 1, it has
more impact/damage on the bad guys body; 2, because it tends less to
penetrate the body, it's less likely to hurt the good people possibly behind
the bad guy as well. |
