去年雪季结束的时候,开始光顾mitbbs,除了cycling版,灌水最多的就是ski版,整个
夏天,除了版主兢兢业业,能常来ski版的寥寥无几,amplifier算是其中的铁杆之一,
他那独特的思维角度,诙谐的表达方式总是能带给我意想不到的乐趣,而且他喜欢写诗
,并能不断地推出各种类型的以滑雪为主题的诗词,有抒情的,有豪迈的,更有风趣和
幽默的,让咱这种缺乏想象力的人也能跨越时空,在炎炎的夏日,依然能延续着上个雪
季的欢乐,憧憬着下个雪季的到来。
此次Utah之行,自然而然地希望能会会咱这ski版的铁杆灌友。Utah之行的第三天,是
个星期六,终于在Snowbird见到了他还有他一直提到的师傅,接下来由他师傅领路,他
自个断后极有耐心地陪着blued和受了点伤的xiaoxiong,让每个人都在Snowbird留下了
一断美好的回忆。那天还有幸与当地的ski版元老xyzok一起滑了一会,可惜的是一行人
只和版主在停车场匆匆合影。
amplifier的师傅滑雪风格稳重而不失优雅,不急不躁地完成每一个turn,让我想起那

看了一些本版和网上的建议
不知道我理解得对不对,除了电脑歌库和mic,其他设备基本就是三种
1. mixer amplifier
2. mixer + amplifier
3. mixer + digital processor + amplifier
各类里都找了一个价位200~300左右的
1. (Vocopro Kr-3808pro)
2. (Vocopro DA1000 + amplifier)
3. (Mackie 402-VLZ3 or Yamaha MG102C + Alesis NanoVerb or Behringer FEX800 +
amplifier)
考虑到不希望操作太复杂,现在打算选第2.
音箱大概就是bose 301或者VocoPro SV-500
请问receiver该选什么?这两个怎么样?
1.Technical Pro RX-B33 2 Channel 1000 Watt Amplifier
这个有mic接口,不用mixer也能用,是吧?
2.Pyramid ZPA100 1000 Watts Stereo Powered Amplifier

俺是纯外行,不过现在的工作需要用到超声,基本就是用FG产生信号,amplifier放大
,然后接到transducer。FG是一个EE的博士生设计的,amplifier是ENI 2100L,50db,
2手的
现在问题是:FG的信号设定是1V,1.5Mhz. Amplifier输出的应该的是316V,但是我观
测到的只有3V,如果amplifier的输出不连接任何cable,输出可以到67V,不过还是远
小于正常值。我同事已经用oscilloscope测出FG产生的信号正常。难道是amplifier的
问题?如果是的话如何检测呢?我们的这个transducer设计的是在1.5Mhz工作。

In order to connect your receiver with an external amplifier, your receiver
needs to have pre-outs, which send out the output of the pre-amplifier.
Most of the low end receivers do not have pre-outs and cannot be directly
connected to an amplifier. For example, the Onkyo receivers have pre-out
starting from the 7xx series.The 5xx and 6xx series do not have pre-out and
cannot be used with external amplifiers (if I remember the model numbers
correctly).

这里的一个重要区别是考虑high frequency, capacitive load
要看impedance,而不只是低频下的resistance.然后用 r*c来近似一个pole.
实际上,也可以假设output resistance 很大,无穷来简化。
你是从vin->vout ,在m3 的gate端的断开的吗?
比如你的boosting amplifier,有Gm, smallest Rout & infinite Rin , ideal opamp
.
从vin, 在m1的输出有 v2, v2=gm1*vin/sc1, 可以画一个current source:gm1*vin //
c1
v2控制boosting amplifier & cascode amplifier
boosting amplifier, 可以画成gm3*v2 //c3, 它有输出电压:v4=gm3*v2/sc3
再看cascode transistor, 它的current source是gm2*vgs , here vgs=v4-v2, 这个cu

我想把denon receiver的front speaker两对接口(那种直接接线的柱子)和amplifier
(有
rca input)和front speaker连起来。
但是denon好像没有rca output的接口啊,怎么把那种直接连线的柱子和amplifier上的
rca接起来
呢?
我在monoprice上找了,好像没有这种线。
receiver上有audio out,不过边上写着vcr或cdr/tape,通过这个连amplifier吗?

short answer: integrated amplifier= power amp + pre-amp
long answer:

都知道在Gain boosted amplifier里面有个doublet, 其中zero在unity gain
frequency of additional amplifier, 但是其中的pole在哪里呢?如果是在output of
additional amplifier,那么这两个pole 和zero距离不是很大么? 不太明白。

既然叫做pole zero doublets, 自然都是auxuliary amplifer带来的,哈哈。
都是gm3/c3 - gm3 - 是boosting amplifier's , c3 - 是output of boosting amplif
iers.
2nd pole - first no-domiant pole是cascode transistor的source (input amplifie
r's drain),那里是gm2/c2 - c2是这点的caps.
btw, transfer function is H(s) = term1* term2
term1 = gm1/sc2
term2 = (1+s*gm3/c3)/(s^2*A+s*gm3/c3+1)
A =c1c3/(gm2*gm3)
intutively 看不是万能的,至少我没这本事。 画画small signal有些时候还是很有用
的。想你给的这个结构,从boosting amplifier的output断开feedback就行。

首先谢谢回答得这么仔细,赞一下学习精神:)
关于transfer function 我是这么推导的,见附图
Gain boosted amplifier在这里的作用就是把gm2提高了(AGE+1)倍
所以在表达式中与普通cascode 不同的地方就是多了一个(AGE(S)+1)
这个+1的部分就create another zero, 但是这个transfer function所表示出来的
Non-dominate poles 分别是the output of the gain boosted amplifier(V2)和node
v1,
这就与另外一个pole需要和zero在一起的假设相矛盾。
我不太明白我这样推倒错在什么地方,我分别看了2002年的一篇tcas 和berkeley的
lecture video,
都有相似的结果。
至于我说把gm3/c3 push到high frequency上面,这个当然要具体问题具体分析,越往
外推越好。

1.是的.但是一般不叫在输出端。回路的主要pole是因为loading*Cout
2.你说的可能是current gain amplifier,就是transconductance,不叫current mode
amplifier. Current mode一般指的是switcher的一种控制方法,好像没听说用着
amplifier上。我不知道了

问题是,有些评论中说它推比较sensitive的音箱比较好,不会失真。因为这台amp输出
功率在4watt以上就会严重失真,所以音箱的灵敏度要高。我的一对音箱是monitor
audio bronze 2,不知道够不够。review中推荐的音箱是Klipsche RB-75.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question.
I am trying to amplify a 0-1000 Hz sin signal to drive a 8 ohm EM load. Can
a class D handle the job?
I saw all the specs only go down to 20 Hz.
Also, I would like the output to be zero if the input is zero.
Anyboday familier with this subject?

这个版是公开版面,谁都可以发表意见,但是不代表大多数老ID会认同,最明显的例子

你要看它匹配不,像楼上说的。
一般receiver如果是integrated amplifier, 已经有了power amp, 而且,缺德带冒
烟的,不给出中间产物pre-amp的输出。要走hifi的话,还是pre-amp和power amp分开
买,加上电源净化, 就可以不停地分开升级各个部件。

前几天在网上买了pioneer SP-BS22-LR bookshelf speaker。今天终于到货了,迫不及
待的打开箱子准备试听一下音效。拿出来一看傻眼了,就一对大箱子,没有音箱线(按
电脑的那种),也没有插音箱线的接口。上网研究了一会才知道原来bookshelf
speaker还需要amplifier / receiver作为输入。。。囧
请版上大牛推荐一款性价比高的amplifier,不胜感激。

用成百上千个Semiconductor microwave amplifiers合成几百千瓦已商业化,在许
多电视发射台已用这方法替代microwave tube. 虽一次性投资高于wicrowave tube,
但使用中便于维护, 如一个或数个semiconductor amplifier坏了不工作,不影
响整机工作,不用停机换上几个插件就ok.

1hz, but a cut-off at 0hz.
such a thing has not been invented and will probably never be invented.
you are much better off rethinking your whole architecture or using a
computer on the back-end to solve that problem.

1) use a manually generated DC potential to offset the DC content in the
input signal. the opamp remains a DC amplifier.

but that doesn't matter for this discussion. your original question is
poorly framed. sounds like you want to amplify a weak a/c current signal
burried in a strong DC signal into a voltage output.
to convert a current signal into a voltage output doesn't require a
transimpedance amplifier.
then, you have the issue of separating the a/c signal from the dc
signal. there are many ways to solve that: a capacitor; a transformer; a
dc servo; or even digitizing the inp

我觉得LZ可能碰到的问题是DC光太强,所以DC光强引起的shot noise可能掩盖了比DC弱
百万倍以上的AC信号,尤其是宽频下。还有就是1/f noise
假设DC是1A,那么其shot noise是6e-10*sqrt(Hz)A,如果带宽1MHz,那么光shot noise
就有0.6uA。所以LZ可以采取以下措施:
1。增加AC量,如果AC只是用作small signal来测量某bias下的效率,那么一般来说
small signal没有必要比bias signal低百万倍。如果只是低千倍,问题显然很容易解
决。
2。加快Chopper,尽量使载频远离DC,然后设计一个比较高级数的高通滤波器,尽量把
DC给除掉。比如一个三级高通,3dB 1kHz,很容易把60Hz(灯泡)以下的信号衰减一百
万倍以上。显然,chopper越快,滤波越容易。
3。高通之后,再在TIA后面使用Lock-in amplifier,一般来说chopper总是和lock-in
amplifier一起使用的,如果你只是测量一个数值,你可以integrate非常长的时间,这
样,甚至pA都可以探测到,不用说区

youfellow made very good points here. improve chopper frequency to move
signal away from flicker noise and use lockin amplifier to detect signal.
I guess LZ's major problem is: even TIA is saturated, the signal is still
too weak.
If Idc=1A, Iac=1uA, with R=10ohm Vdc=10V, Vac=10uV.
Vac is easily burried in the noise floor. You may use Lock-in Amplifier to
get some signal out, you wont get great SNR.
So the solution is to seperate Idc from Iac before converting into Voltage.

,还是接个示波器好些或者其他什么仪器?SR530 Lock in amplifier的输出是BNC接头

Very complicated including all the capacitors.
But intuitively, the first non-dominate pole is due to the output impedance
of the additional amplifier, right?
Another question is, is the output impedance of the additional amplifier
affected by the negative loop?

你不需要包括所有的parasitic caps. 就把output “cload”, drain terminal cap,
"c1" of input transistor, and output cap, "Cc" of auxuliary amplifier 放那。
当然,在设计中Cc 的大小比较关键。这样才能保证 w(dominat) nt 去加速setting.
gm/Id是个design methodology, 理解这个未必需要懂这个。
btw, gm/Id方法真得很好用。
第2,feedback loop对分析这里的pole/zero很关键。
从本质上,gain-boosted amplifier 展现的是single-pole roll-off characteristic
,所以它的stability不是个大问题。他的主要问题是setting time/error - 对大信号而
言。

这个计算transfer function的方法确实不错,简化了不少,只是如果把output
resistance全部省略,会不会对最后的gain计算会有影响?
Additional amplifier确实只是boost the output impedance,,整个amplifer得gm 还
是约等于gm1,但是你如果计算一下the impedance @V1, 你会发现V1 is voltage
sampled, and the impedance is
1/(gm2*(AGE+1)),
当然在那么高的frequency,AGE早就消失了。
换个角度来说,GE amplifier的作用就是keep the drain of bottom transistor more
constant.当然相对来说,the impedance at V1 is smaller.
不知道这样的说法对不对
