are susceptible to frostbite. Frostbite occurs when a part of the body
freezes. If not treated immediately, frostbitten areas die and may fall off
or have to be amputated. Frostbitten skin is pale and cool to the touch. It

9/11 更新一下,昨天看了surgery的医生,x-ray不能看太清楚,因为周围很多tissue
,讨论了手术,biopsy,和ct,现在定了下周二做ct,如果能确认而且没有扩散,就直
接手术amputation。如果ct还是有疑问或者已经扩散了,就只能chemo和radiation了,
现在就希望没有扩撒,能有手术机会,这样noble还能有一年多的快乐时光。

Documentation is of course critical. however, at the center of this
malpractice suit is WHO is to blame for her amputation, which is a result of
a septic shock.
from what i read, she had a spiking fever of 106 before she decided to go to
ER. the infection is there to begin with. Prompt treatment could have a
better outcome, but not necessarily. I for one think the jury is correct,
and the judge is ridiculous in tossing out the verdict.

My thoughts from a short period of ob are similar to April. As we met four
diabetic osteomyelitis cases that the patients are at their 30-50s, and don'
t care about amputation of toes/foot; three factitious disease pt, one of
which is an African American with AIDS comes here only for another dialysis

手指未必是好事。

如果是我, 我也会选择fusion, 可医生说, 要两次手术, 第一次手术先确定手指没
有被细菌感染,第二次手术才是finger fusion. 如果今后改变主意要做截肢, 还要第
三次手术。。。所以我朋友已经没有信心了, 因为手术, 他的手指曾经感染过, 已
经做了5次 手术了,汗!!!
如果现在考虑截肢, 只要一次手术,但他要永远面对4个手指了。
我相信这里有很多优秀的医生,在做这个决定之前, 我们想知道有没有其他更好的选
择。

礼拜2水喝完了,然后他自己把被压住的胳膊用刀切断,自己止血。

wikipedia.com,Mike 讲的那个accident确实很慘.Wikipedia是这样说的:
