with Hanna, he won the runner-up with Karyna Kylkova in 1999. The next year
2000, paul and hanna won the 3rd place; louis and karYna smirnoff won the
5th. Unless Karina Smirnoff today was karyna Kylkova...

say i was very impressed:) he did a pretty good job with monique on dwts
this past season. i'm still upset that they got booted so early.
on another subject, did anyone see the commercial with edyta and max? i'm
pretty sure it's edyta, but the man could be alec. i think it's ad for jared
the jewelry store. glad that dancesport stars are getting the recognition |

represent either one of the two countries (or so I believe). for the US, if
neither person is from the US, then I believe they would have to live in the
US for one year before they could represent the US. Louis van Amstel and
Karina Smirnoff-ice were such a case.
Bryan Watson and Carmen used to dance for Germany. Neither of them is German
. The reason they danced for Germany was because Carmen used to dance with

名次还好，但参赛人数太少，没什么含金量。作为自己第一次比赛，全当积累经验。
觉得跳舞，跳好舞。要有一个良好的态度，和刻苦的决心。
然后就是见到了Louis van Amstel ，没机会说上话。

according to slavik and karina's interview
what happened was that slavik and joanna broke up first
because of conflicting personality
karina was with louis van amstel
they later broke up
then slavik started to dance with karina

些跳拉丁舞里的人里面真正的艺术家。因为他对舞蹈和编舞有着自己的理解。

根据我对你的了解，你应该不会喜欢他和他的舞蹈。你还会认为他跳拉丁舞没有settle
。（你放的Joanna那段录像比他SETTLE的要多多了）。其实呢，有的人喜欢SETTLE的比
较重一点，往下压的狠一点。有的人就喜欢站的直一点，SETTLE的时候就TWIST一下就
好了。这个本身没有什么对错。你可能会觉得前者更有拉丁风味。在这些世界级的大师
里，我估计你会觉得他是跳得最没有拉丁味道的。是不是？不过这也不影响他成为世界
冠军。呵呵。
但是他在WSSDF的所有的舞蹈都是真正的show dance，别人的都是把competition
routine改了该，甚至不该就搬上去了。从这点上来说，我更赞他一点。毕竟，show
dance不同于competitive dance,虽然很多人更喜欢看后者。
