正当人人准备欢度圣诞新年的时候，一名涉嫌用火锅炉燃油令男朋友那话儿火光熊熊的
女子需在牢狱中度佳节。
雷妮(Andree Rene)被裁定严重伤人罪成立後获释候判，开庭议论刑罚时，她芳踪渺然
，但始终逃不过警方耳目，於上周被捕。周一她被带上法庭，法官命令把她关起来，直
至明年1月8日再开庭议论刑罚。
本来下周便可庆祝44岁生辰的雷妮双手被锁着带上法庭，在证人台上接受盘问时才获准
除去手扣。
趁男友入睡下手
雷妮惹上官非可追溯到五年多前。在2001年4月，她与男朋友剧烈争执後，男朋友上床
睡觉，很快便呼呼大睡。当他睡梦正酣时，下体部位突然痛楚而惊醒，稍为定神後才知
道被人泼以易燃液体，然後点火焚烧。52岁的受害人盘骨部位和胸部严重烧伤，伤势达
三级，需留医一个月。
检察官拉里韦亚(Steeve Lariviere斥责被告违反保释条件，指她改变住址没有通知法
庭。
法官同时禁止她接触酒精。雷妮向法庭解释她上次没有出庭是因为肩膊痛楚而往求医。
拉里韦亚在法庭外对记者说﹕「她将继续被扣押，直至整件案了结，那是她没有出庭的
代价。」雷妮於去年被裁定罪成。虽然她被判最高刑罚入狱14 |
