不准你的邻居或者同事不仅不喜欢你的小孩，而且也挺讨厌你的。

sometimes Dr. Baum gives you some anecdotes which sound not that serious to
me.
The lectures basically translate the history we learn in China, plus the
period from 1949 to 1989.
All in all, if you want to talk about China with your friends who are from
other courntries you should listen to those lectures. |

，总而判断某个作家，比如韩寒的某个创作行为符不符合常理，你就不能依赖你自己的
经验了。第一、你不是专业作家；第二、即使你是专业作家，你如果要对群体做总结，
也需要学术训练。
文学创作过程的研究其实在学术界开展的很规范了，只不过你孤陋寡闻罢了。对作家群
体的survey, 对作家群体的常年observation，甚至实验手段都大量运用到创作研究中
来了。
比方很多作家反映说思路断的时候，有一个白日梦/晚上梦让思路豁然开朗（甚至爱因
斯坦等科学家也描述过），但是这东西可信吗？就有相关研究规范设计实验组对照组等
实验手段，检测相关假设。
不是质疑哦，看我前面引用的买卖提论坛一堆人骂韩寒是骗子，这是质疑吗？

那封信真是写的霸气，蒲慕明号称大家向他学习，每天要高效工作10小时以上，回家还
要看一大堆书。看相关文章都是说他十分勤奋十分productivity的。
我不是学生物的，有件事情十分不解想学习一下：他这么勤奋，每天连续高强度思考工
作11+小时，如何还能有足够的精力同时manage一个老婆一个情妇？难道他和情妇在一
起还是继续做试验？早上起来工作一点不困么？

去的时候还好 孕检也蛮顺利的 回来的时候出事了
为了做一项血检 老板在医院喝了不少水
因为下午有seminar 老板没来得及上厕所 我们就往回开了
路上老板表情异样 我想是估计是要pee 就直接问了 老板的脸刷的就红了
我赶紧开了GPS找厕所 最近的还有20几迈
只好找了一个僻静的路边 我停下来 打了双闪
老板下车去路边林子解决问题了
万万没想到 一部警车pass by 以为我们车坏了好心 停下来问
我傻乎乎地说车没事 就是方便一哈
胖警察一个箭步就冲进林子 把老板拎出来了
还上了手铐！！！！！
胖警察说public urinating要罚五百块 外加一天jail time。
老板被拎上了警车后座
上车前幽怨地望了我一眼 -- 也可能是恶毒地。。。
我因为下午有seminar 只好先自己开车回学校了。
也不知道老板现在怎么样了

我一直認為基督教最後會死在進化論上， 教育普及以後，信基督教就像信
地球是平的一樣是難為情的事， 一兩代以後就不會有什麼人信了。 這看法
未必錯，不過我最近領悟到同性戀問題可能提早把基督教消滅， 這幾年正是
tipping point, 加州的 Prop. 8, 北卡的 Amendment 1 把基督教牢牢釘在
恐同反同的一方， 這如這篇博文講的， 也許基督徒贏了文化戰爭中的幾個
戰役， 卻失去一整代年輕人， 當基督教擺明與他們的同性戀朋友為敵，他們
自然不會再認同基督教。

今天在家读了一本书《Two Kisses for Maddy》，昨天在b&n看到这本新上市的书，看
完synopsis以后决定买了。最近我比较喜欢读memoir，因为真人真事总是有其真实性，
这本书很感人也比较伤感，但是结尾很好。现实生活是残酷无情的，我们迎接现实的方
法就是学会如何去处理它，看这本书的同时我还在读一本romantic fiction，相比之下
简直就是平淡无味儿，放弃！有空大家读读memoir吧。

昨日談到沉塘跳樓人士之家中妻小問題，突然想到粵語中有俗語為＂仔細老婆嫩＂，再
想想其語境背後道理，有點意思。
仔細，和國語中仔細一詞不同，仔，指兒子，後來泛指至兒女。細，指年幼弱小。當然
老婆嫩國語用戶應當可以理解，雖然粗俗了些許。此語描述家有嬌妻幼子，但並不是好
事，用處有二。其一為慨嘆型，如某人突遭橫禍，別人可感嘆，哎，佢仲仔細老婆嫩，
好慘。其二為勸阻型，如某人意欲身涉險境，或傾家蕩產進行高風險投資，此可為No 1
勸阻理由，哎，你仲仔細老婆嫩啊，放棄啦。
細想下有點意思。雖說養妻活兒是成語，但估計對絕大部分人而言，活兒是根本，養妻
只是附加的。人性如此，不必慨嘆。仔細老婆嫩之所以能如此怕風險，無它，若仔大了
