for D&C, local or IV anethesia is easier and faster, no need to perform
epidural. |

发帖数: 364 | 2 I did an operative hysteroscopy lately. It's under general anethesia. It's
like take a 2-hour nap. No feeling at all before and after the operation.
I really don't understand how come your doc did not give you any anesthesia
even yours was only a diagnostic hysteroscopy.
Also, don't worry about ER. You will definately be under anethesia so no
pain during the procedure. |

这其实是一个非常不讨好的话题，想了很久，觉得即使能影响到一二个家庭，也值得花
个把小时把它写出来。
我的主要工作场所是一所teaching hospital 的手术室和Cath Lab, 所以可以遇到各种
training的中国移民的年轻一代精英，主要是residents and medical students, 极少
数fellows and research scientists. 前几年麻醉科的Asian比例大约在10%左右，也
就是说，大约10-15位Anesthesia residents 里面会有1-2位from Asian heritage，每
年如此，但是去年亚裔（排除印度人）在麻醉系全军覆没，没有一个（看看政治正确的
重要性）。
而且在这个医院的很多年里，我没有看到一个年轻亚裔的surgicial fel... 阅读全帖 |

injected into Epidural space not inside the spine cord. Now focus on how to
get her well. Later, your friend or her family can win a big chunk of money
from lawsuit. |

my son has general anethesia at 1 year old. Experience is OK but I would not
recommend it to such a small procedure. |

So, how was this general anethesia done?
那这个put him to sleep的过程是怎样的呢？把他绑到手术台上，按上面罩？还是
说我抱着他，按上面罩？上了面罩之后多久他会睡着？1分钟？手术完成之后是容他自己
醒呢，还是上面罩给吸点别的然后他腾又醒了？医生说整个过程一个半小时。我能全程
看着吗？ |

my personal experience: if your child had caries in lower incisors (下门牙),
your child will have multiple caries in upper incisors and interproximal
caries between other teeth.
请问笑气是副作用最小的吗？
the main purpose to use 笑气 is to reduce patient anxiety.
还有别的麻药可以选择吗？
usually local anethesia such as lidocaine
papoose board 的话是不是医生难度较大？
I think papoose board bother parents more than bother Dr., since child may
be fearful and cry. |
