发帖数: 51 | 1 1.主题非常明确，都打在Rally Annoucement当中现场发给大家传阅了，主要有3条：
1）反对暴力，反对西藏暴乱，追求和平。
2）反对西方媒体歪曲报道，发出我们的声音
3）谴责对奥运圣火的袭击，支持北京奥运
我们跟各个采访我们的媒体都是这么说的。而且Annoucement当中很明确说了，我们不
是protest Dalai，达赖讲的是compassion和sustainability，protest这个不make
sense。可是不管我们怎么建议，作为自发集会，每个人都有发出声音的权利，有人要
喊“Dalai Liar”我们是管不住的。。。
2.关于口号，我们写在Annoucement当中了，不建议大家采用喊口号，用声音来压制别
人。达赖在打悲情牌，你喊得越响越会让别人以为你在欺负人家藏人。而且达赖在里面
讲同情心和可持续发展，我们在外面喊“one world, one dream”，非常滑稽。我们鼓
励大家上去和美国人交谈，心平气和沟通，讨论材料和展板，不过没什么人愿意这么做
罢了。我试图让大家不要这么气势汹汹的向美国人狂吼“Welcome to Beijing”，把人

始找在室内的工作，海投了差不多４０份。至今陆陆续续六个interview，其它的要么
不给面试要么还在process。
前５个interview中：两个直接onsite，结果全没选上；一个phone interview之后再

他：Do you have any plans for memorial day weekend？
我：Not really。

还很难说。 这个题目技术性有点强， 通俗地说， Qfabric 没有遵照标准，自己也不
明说是什么技术

今天简直是盛况空前：annouce之前有各种前员工混进来；十一点的时候楼下咖啡厅已

of-Material (BOM)折磨得够呛! 我的背景是工程的，因为项目的内容要用到基本的
cell culture（HeLa cell）, antibodies, immunoassay reagents等等，所以打算预
算 $15K 的材料费。独立以前用得很少，从来没有自己买过这些东西，都是合作实验室
的人提供现成的。现在要提供这些东西的价格明细，供应商，用量等等细节，实在头大。
Annoucement上的要求是这样说的, NSF/NIH 没有要求这么详细的，说一下大概多少就

和学校律师谈一下这个情况，律师会告诉你最好的做法：比如如何professional的回复
他们。在和律师谈之前，你也可以一句话email回复他们：I will get back to you
after I have consulted with my institution's law office. 其他的一句都不要多
说，也不要给timeline。
无论律师如何建议，我个人强烈建议你不要和他们有任何接触。因为结果无非是以下一
种：
1，他们尖锐的质疑你的结论，要你出示证据。即使你给了，他们也总有理由质疑，比
如你的control group做的不好了，比如你的只适合这种人群不会适合那种人群了。其
目的就是要你多少compromise一下你的paper的结论。你最后很可能要被逼写一篇
annoucement即使不撤回文章。
2, 许诺你一些好处，如何“资助”你的研究来更好地“搞明白”这个分子。你只要上
了贼船，以后就不要想发表任何不利于他们的结果。他们不会明着阻碍你但会有一百种
让你不顺利的方式。
