The May 6 "flash crash" may be history, but its after-effects-and threat to
the stock market-continue to loom large after two recent mini-crashes in
individual stocks.
Regulators have characterized the initial flash crash, which saw the Dow
lose nearly 1,000 points in a matter of minutes, as a one-off occurrence
possibly attributable to a "fat finger" trade or some other market anomaly.

temp visit to 9-1-2011, which was the expiration date of my first 3-year-
period of H1B, i've already obtained my renewed I-797, shall I apply for
another ID @ DMV so that the note will shall the updated info?
i also noted that the actual expiration date of the ID card is 2019, not
sure whether that note matters |

I140 Priority date transfer from one employee to another
My co-worker was applying her green card under EB2 and had the I-140
approved, then she married to an US citizen and got her green card through
her marriage. I'm taking her old position and my employer said I can use her
priority date.

"Your request to have the I-140 to be transferred has been granted. Your
cases are now waiting clearance from another agency before the I-485s can be
adjudicated. The adjudicating officer will be checking for your clearances
weekly. As soon as this occurs your applications will be adjudicated."
What? my pending 485 has been sitting there for 2.5 years and clearance
process hasn't done yet. |

"As of the 28 of January another background check investigation was
initiated. There are more than one agency involved, and it may take a while
before the issue gets resolved."
自己SR的答复是还在background check 中，六个月内没有消息，在check with them.
大家有类似的状况吗，不知哪里出了问题，欲哭无泪
准备收拾一下心情，继续上路 |
