after being left in her family's car overnight, police said today.
Sofia Wisher of Antioch was pronounced dead after she was found in her car

Sunday, authorities said.

Antioch新区看起来还不错，环境很好，价格也合理。可能对中国老人来说荒凉了些。
也有id提到治安不好，新区看起来挺高级的，治安也不好吗？
老人对环境房子还满意，但是担心他们住了又嫌闷，搞不好过两年还要卖。这个区域的
房价未来2-5年会大跌吗？我也知道这个问题很蠢，如果有了解的不妨发表一下见地。

这里环境虽然好，但是离学校太远（大概有20mile路程），每天跑来跑去太麻烦。
另外现在住的条件对于两个天天在实验室干活只是回家吃饭睡觉的人来说也有点太奢侈
了。
室友和我商量了下，觉得还是另外找个离学校近点的地方比较好些。
看了版上一些以前的帖子，发现很多人在vanderbilt附近，而tsu那边不太安全（我老
板也这么说，所以就给我们推荐到antioch这边来了，但住了一个月感觉这边更适合拖
家带口的人来住）。所以现在想在vanderbilt附件找新住处，studio，1b1b，2b1b或者
2b2b都可以，如果能找到中国人多的小区就更好了。
请大家帮我们推荐下，如果能提供更具体的信息就好了（比如现在的房租价格，附近购

30W的CONDO ( APARTMENT)有很多选择,但存在物业管理费比较贵的问题( HOA).选择地
点有:
1). EMERYVILLE:

1，北湾四郡。
别看地方大，人口并不多，大部分地区都是红木森林，农田，葡萄田，大量人口都在南
部靠近湾的地方，越往北人越少。Marin郡：治安总体来说非常好，居民非常富裕，有
两个地方需要注意。第一是San Rafael，暴力犯罪，主要是暴力袭击和抢劫在区内略高
。第二是Sausalito。非常安全的城市，但是由于住得满地都是富翁，入室盗窃有点多
。顺便说一下，Sausalito的房子风景都相当的好，度假住个几天绝对是好选择，进城
可以坐轮渡，相当方便。Sonoma和Napa郡：这就是非常著名的葡萄酒产区了，基本来说
也是非常安全的地区，主要是因为人少。需要注意Rohnert Park， Cotati一直到
Petaluma这一带，因为有个Sonoma State以及若干小赌场，治安稍差。Solano郡：北湾
治安最差的郡，其中以Vallejo为最差中的最差，暴力犯罪相当严重，市政府曾在2008
年破产，最近可能会再次破产，所以政府可以提供的公共服务，比如警察，消防，学校

程度就是因为中北欧加上英伦群岛能养活的人太多了，中国利于统一的优点就是北
十公里的距离，我很怀疑中国的中原王朝能长时间保持统一。想象一下蒙古人，女真人
的人口乘以50倍，中原王朝能长期保持统一而不是被北方的蛮族一次次的侵略而土崩瓦
解？
1. 古罗马人口包括相当多的亚洲和北非人口。当时（3世纪）的5大城市， ROME,
ALEXANDRIA, ANTIOCH, EPHESUS, 和 CARTHAGE，只有1个在欧洲。罗马城在欧洲，罗马

发帖数: 1209 | 43 罗马有不少对丝绸之路的记载。当时罗马最高级的丝绸是希腊出的Coan silk，其次是
地中海的sea silk，但是这两者很贵。中国的丝绸便宜量又大，大量进口后连洗衣服的
奴隶都有几件。
丝绸进出口在西方的重镇是Antioch（后来的patriarchy都城之一）。从中国进口的便
宜生丝，在这里用发达的两河纺织器械、罗马的大工场生产、以及悠久的埃及的染色技
术综合起来。中国内乱后，似乎有一段生丝生产移到印度，直到罗马衰落。
丝绸之路在历史上一定比中方记载要繁华得多，因为罗马至少两次严重的通货紧缩都和
进口丝绸有关（但是罗马的金银绝大部分去了西亚，流入中国很少，中国的蚕农可能只
挣了个苦力钱）。中国人被一部《西游记》误导几百年，总觉得西方全是妖魔鬼怪。其
实中亚的道路根本是条坦途，上万年来人来人往、熙熙攘攘。 |

反正看地中海史，就觉得这些基督徒真不是东西，打着基督的名义干进缺德的事，穆斯
林虽然也残忍，但是没那么无耻。

美警侦破专挑华裔住宅盗抢案 落网12人全是非裔(图)
主持调查工作的重大罪案调查组分局长麦法顿透露，该60余起盗窃及入室抢劫案的受害
住宅，绝大部分为华裔及亚裔所有，警方怀疑嫌犯是故意挑选华裔住宅犯案。
参与该特别行动调查工作的部分调查人员指出，被选中为犯案目标的华裔住宅，几乎都
没有安装防盗系统或监视录像机。其中损失最严重的一个华裔家庭，被嫌犯偷走高达16
万美元现金。
调查人员说，部分案件是由住宅盗窃变为入室抢劫案，因嫌犯多是先按门铃，探测屋内
是否有人。但往往留在家里的华裔老人反应较缓慢，没有实时回应。嫌犯以为屋内无人
，就破门而入，却被华裔老人撞见，而将华裔老人推进房间，再在屋内搜掠。
过去半年来，华人聚居的日落区及肖化区等，发生多起华裔老人在住宅被嫌犯抢劫案。
调查人员说，这是案发的背景情况。
旧金山警方9日在警局总部举行记者会，宣布侦破逾60起盗窃及入室抢劫案。去年11月警
察局长史考特决定恢复旧金山警局的旧制，在总局设立重大罪案调查组，包括盗窃组。
