有个问题，出去做志愿者的时候，有没有专门标志的T-shirt（大大的志愿者的字什么
的）？感觉没有穿标志衣服的话，受众比较容易有抵触感，可能是觉得不安全什么的，
怕是搞传销的什么的。 |

从我之前在公园，在日裔韩裔超市门口发flyer的经验来看，普通人对陌生人的戒心是
很重的。我请求组织者来做个T-Shirt, 比如红色的T-shirt，上面是大大的白色最简单
英文大字volunteer, 再下面是中文的"义工" (如果能加上其它亚裔的义工翻译就更好
了)。正反面都弄成一样的大大的显目的字眼
。。。
这样别人一眼就知道你是干什么的，而不至于以为你是要钱的homeless或者卖东西的，
而一开始就抗拒你，让你难用开口解释。
关于上面的字眼，请不要和event相关，这样的话，衣服可以通用，以后我们也可以用
同样的衣服，而不至于一个event换一次装。我请求就很几个简答大字： volunteer,
义工 （可以再加上其他亚裔语言中间的“义工”这个词的翻译），比如：可以考虑最
上面的字最大，下面的逐步变小，一个倒立三角形，全部的字都是同一个意思“
Volunteer”，但是in 不同的language。
工欲善其事，必先利其器。请组织者们慎重考虑俺的这个request！T-shirt可以做好了
卖给我们。

发帖数: 136 | 28 Agree with some effort in alameda county. The time is limited, and it can be
simultaneously. District 20 assemblyman Bill Quirk was very arrogant
according to the posts some time ago about their meeting experience with
Bill about SCA5. Seems he did not get enough pressure yet, so even no
response after SCA5 is halted.
Understand we should not get effort diluted, and should concentrate on
likely win area. Just want to bring attention to leaders of associations.

今天参加了Quinlan那个Meeting，Senate/Assembly的少数党领袖以及Prop 209发起人
Ward Connerly都到场。Dem也邀请了些但一个都没到场(Coward!)。
抗议没用，签名也没用，那就让我们用选票说话!

发帖数: 1113 | 33 刚在facebook上和好些朋友聊起我们能为anti SCA-5做什么，一位在FB工作的朋友说他
已经用他FB的员工credit在FB给 Say No to SCA5做了广告，这个广告reach了2千人，
这中间500多个人like了"say No to SCA 5" page--可见还有很多很多的朋友在后台做
相关的工作。
我告诉这位FB的朋友， 现在Chinese community is fighting on its own, which
makes the battle so tough. We also need to reach out to the Korean, the
Indian, the Japanese, etc., to get more Asian-American involved. And the FB
friend says OK, he can help on target post AD to the corresponding ethnic
groups.

) the same time, since the target group is the same people.
We can urge people to vote for PK for State Senate, at the same time urge
them to vote (for candidate identified) for Assembly D25 or D20 accordingly
to their area.
Who should we support for these 2 district? |
