在南海撞机事件中，这两个词成为了外交热点。我们先查查字典，在新英汉词典：
sorry： 难过的，惋惜的，懊悔的，遗憾的，对不起的，抱歉的…….；
apology：道歉，认错，谢罪。
当然，没有例句，上下文，还是不能弄清楚的，现在就我的理解来解释一下。
这两个词的关键区别在于sorry 的那个事情不见得与我有关，起码不是故意的；而
aplolgy则是我要负直接责任，而且恐怕是有意而为，还是得讲故事容易明白一些。
当朋友的太太跟人跑掉了，你只能说sorry，如果说apology意思就是你是那个人，说之
前，你最好有挨几个重拳的准备。
如果你挨了几记重拳被打得头昏脑胀，然后终于向那个朋友讲清楚了你并不认识他的太
太，不过因为不是外交官，说话没有咬文嚼字。当然，朋友不能为女人伤了义气，于是
那个朋友要对你说：apology。说sorry，你就要坚持原则不干，脱掉外套而准备进行一
场拳击比赛，因为你脸上的伤痕绝不是无意而为，像他不小心撞了你一下，人应该把事
情弄清楚以后再动手的。
