今天收到ld的EAD卡，终于可以顺利开始工作了！
情况小结：我和ld申请OPT，nsc,分别被拒，经过1个月的斗争，终于拿到
先说我的情况吧，相对简单
4月找到工作，5月3号寄出申请，预计8月31号开始工作
一直没有收到receipt notice
7月3号想起来追踪进展，打电话800-375-5283查询，被告知我得LIN case number
以及我的case早在5月8号就被denied了，原因是申请表没签字？不过我的check早就被
cash了
电话里uscis建议我重新提交签字的申请表格并说明原因，但是网上看到这种情况是要
重新申请的，决定去找学校的international student office求助
结果：7月11号找的iso，商定7月14号（星期一）email问询uscis，准备把需要的东西
fax过去；7月14号收到答复说重开了我的case，并request expedited，没有要求任何
新材料！
7月15号card production ordered，7月17号approva notice sent，7月 |

问题是11年的H1B名额已经用完， 12年的要10月份开始，不知道是否可以立即工作？
But if your transfer get approva before Oct. 1st, you need to stop working
for new company until Oct. 1st. |

I have a problem with a loan broker I worked with. Here's my story.
I submitted an offer for a short sale, and bank sent me an unoffical approva
l letter. Then I started working with this loan broker. He prepared for all
the docs, but we still didn't see the official approval letter. During this
period, he ordered the appraisal for me.
However, after about 3 months the bank countered back with a higher price, a

e company with this broker, and was told I don't have to worry about his and
he will take care of this for me. Good guy as what I always say. hehe.
The main reason I post my thread here is to remind everyone not to allow you
r loan broker do the same stupid thing.

我昨天也收到I797 approva notice了。但是现在我的网上状态还是Initial Review。
看来网上状态还是不怎么准确的啊。
经历了9个月的豁免，终于搞定了 |

， 3年薄厚，有个小奖和国内小媒体报道，整个case极度平庸，3月底提交，追加PP，8
天后被RFE，非常紧张，律师说这个IO同学不是杀手，回复RFE，8天后律师今天通知
approved，特地把那个approva写得巨大，开心，也谢谢大家的bless。
申请的时候版上潜水，学了不少，在此一并谢过前辈，也分享一下自己的经验，祝大家
也心想事成。
先说整个case准备吧，强烈建议通过看版上人的经验，或者自己读相关文件，一定要对
考试大纲有个把握，这样有的放矢地准备，事半功倍，万不可全想着靠律师。这是我最
初准备的时候犯的最大错误，律师让写准备资料，我也没有明白什么样的资料最有利，
花了两个月，整了一堆没用的。
准备材料是整个case申请的灵魂，推荐信和后面的PL都要从你自己写的材料总结上来。
材料总结挖亮点，个人认为要“稳准狠”。“准”是说要投USCIS所好，对NSC我不太清
楚，TSC是重应用，应用怎么来，我个人认为有三个方向，对学界来说最好找的应用是

去年下半年公司给办了EB3的140（PD 2012.11）和485一起，现在指纹也打了，今天收
到了EB3的I-140 approval。 想请教一下我月底回国我的visa还能用吗？ VISA会跟I-
140绑定吗？ 我现在有2个I-140（I-797）, 不知道旧的会不会作废，2月底的机票。。

你的H1B签证只跟你的H1B I-797有关系，跟你的EB2/3 140无关。至于H1B 申请和140的
关系，跟你的H1B 签证无关。
只要你有没过期的H1B I-797和有效的H1B Visa，就可以入境。跟你有没有140，140几
个种类无关。 |

昨天晚上没有睡好，半夜饿醒了，今天早上刚到办公室， Chief 就询问我某个研究项
目的进展和后续资金情况。
进展倒是顺利，后续资金缺口庞大，但是我知道是有保证的，因为一个月前我刚查过。
但是，但是，那张保障我们后续资金的公文原件， 却怎么也找不到了。
那个公文原件存在楼下的档案室，只有秘书有钥匙， 我调阅的时候找她拿的钥匙，我
记得很清楚，每次我都说我自己放回楼下，但是秘书说我没有必要自己跑一趟楼下，交
给她，她放回去，就可以了。
我知道问题出在了这里，但是我还是自己翻遍了我的办公室，角角落落，就即便有个复
印件，也好，但是就是找不到。
秘书翻遍她的cube , 也找不到。
我真急的两眼发黑，这是2012 年10 月份的批复，如果没有了，再来一遍，不知道还有
没有那么好的运气。 如果不需要再来一遍，告诉他们我们把这么重要的的东西丢了，
也会有难以想像的麻烦，除了挨白眼问你怎么不把自己丢了？
