拿toronto, chicago两个人口和经济规模相当的城市比较。从下表看出，在CHICAGO，
白人少于50%，而非Hispanic whites更少，黑人占了32.9%,亚洲人只占5.5%（这还包括
烙印），而 Hispanic or Latino人口整体占到28.9%，也就是说老黑+劳模加其他
Hispanic or Latino整体已占到这个城市的快60%的人口。
反观TORONTO，白人50%，这比CHICAGO的略多，东亚人（中日韩）有12%和烙印
（也是12%这样，South Asian）的差不多，而东南亚人占7.0%，你说的那些穆斯林其实
也就1%这样（1.1% Arab），他们和西亚人加一起也就3%。黑人8%，拉美人不到3%。所
以不难看出，TORONTO，白人一半，而注重教育的东亚阿三和东南亚加一起有22%之多。
而arab穆斯林西亚人+黑人+拉美人才14%，其实很多西亚穆斯林和拉美人还是很爱学习

之前一直搞不定是因为preamble里面有一句\renewcommand{\thefigure}{\arabic{
figure}}我一直没看到所以做无用功
另外\counterwithin就装一个chngcntr package 不过我最后也不需要这个了

久的问题。
以前看中世纪的电影，里面英格兰的国王等在念比如arabic这种词的时候，中间的r有
时候会被发为
alveolar thrill,特别在着重的时候。后来我想到德语里面两种thrill都有，特别是贵
族，英德又
都是日耳曼语系，于是我想，是因为英国受德国影响？还是英国受苏格兰语影响？还是
苏格兰语，德
语，英语互相影响？在阿拉伯的劳伦斯里面英国人把arabic年成alabic的，只是似乎没
有alveolar
thrill之，那这是不是说明英语的变化是alveolar thrill的r演变到发l的音再到今日
的r（卷舌
as in ribbon）？那如果是的话，为什么今天的英语要变成词中间的r（比如Arabic）
要念成卷舌的
r而不是保持原来的alveolar thrill或者干脆念l？ |
