继christmas在ER待了一天之后,娃又住了三天院,吊水的过程惨不忍睹。
换了两茬人,千辛万苦在ER埋好了iv,当时我就觉得埋得太浅,但是那护士说没关系的
。果然,前天晚上准备再上抗生素的时候,发现iv掉出来了,肿了好大一个包,不知道
什么时候掉出来的,外面纱布包得很牢。
然后重新再上iv,住院部能上的护士全上了,最后连nicu的护士都叫来了,小手小脚所
有的血管都试了,插进去,在里面搅一阵,偶尔摸到血管,然后又滑掉了。就没一个成
功的。我实在忍不住,去跟医生说,能不能不吊了。
娃实在太太太可怜了,现在不光她有心理阴影,我也有了。

that teenage driving is notoriously dangerous, and they're easily peer
pressured into doing "cool" things. we also know that "good students" aren't

Synthetic = repackaged + sliced and diced. They are still based on the
underlying cash flows. They aren't dreamed up even when they aren't plain
vanilla subprimes. The cause of all the financial trouble isn't the
packaging but is mostly related to the poor qualities of the original loans.

1) Ignore traffic rules. They are advisory and not binding, unless a cop
wants to get technical.
2) Drive in the middle. You need to keep your options open. If a rare dotted
line actually marks a boundary between lanes, straddle it.
3) Don’t look for street signs. They aren’t there. Only side streets have
signs. And only some of those.
4) Be ready to dodge pedestrians. They don’t look and are dumb as geese,
crossing anywhere they feel like it, in complete oblivity to danger.

Boston Doesn't Care What You Think of It and Neith - 11/29/2009
I lived in and around Boston for 22 years. I got out because of high
population, very high cost of living (from food to renting to car insurance
to owning a pet to owning a car/house and high income tax, it is a wallet
drainer), the impossible winters and the ignorance of the typical Bostonian.
Since leaving almost nine years ago, I realize that although I wouldn't

Moving out of Boston - 5/29/2006
My wife and I have lived in Boston for 2 years. Compared to other places we
have lived, including Fort Collins (CO), Portland (OR), Raleigh-Durham, San
Francisco, Boston easily has the worst quality of life. People are not
friendly, period. Nor do people seem happy at all- attitudes are poor among
everybody except the very privileged. Most everybody we meet is anxious to
move away. We were hoping for a more diverse community of people as well but
