劳朱嘉仪获全票通过，出任罗市首位华裔女市长。（美国《世界日报》/骆舒娴 摄）
美国罗斯密市议会26日选出新一届正、副市长，劳朱嘉仪(Polly Low)以五票赞成
，顺利出任该市首位华裔女市长，西裔市议员William Alarcon当选以来首次出任副市
长一职。本月初地方选举中成功连任的李志(Steven Ly)、Sandra Armenta和Margaret
Clark也宣誓就职。
劳朱嘉仪表示，成为罗市首位华裔女市长，感到荣幸和骄傲。未来一年将继续努力
维护市议会团结，并且着重发展罗市的城市声望，吸引更多投资商机，为城市创造更多
财政收入。
劳朱嘉仪表示，4月9日晚正、副市长就职典礼，将邀请见证她从政生涯的老友、核
桃市前市议员林恩成为她主持宣誓，十分有意义。
在选战中败北的嘉伟学区华裔女教委江珍妮专程到场，向三位对手表示祝贺和支持
