“友邦惊诧”，今昔有别
人群中善良者居多，中外皆然。中国在国际上有许多真诚的朋友。本文所指的“友邦人
士”，特指那些动不动就指责中国的人。
１９３１年九一八事变，日本军队进攻沈阳，中国的最高统帅蒋介石严令东北军不许抵
抗。三个月后东北沦陷。全国各地学生为反对不抵抗政策到南京请愿，军警镇压，打死
学生二十余人，伤百余人。政府在命令各地镇压学生的电文中有“友邦人士，莫名惊诧
，长此以往，国将不国”等语。于是便有了鲁迅先生的杂文名篇《“友邦惊诧”论》。
日本攻占中国东北，“友邦”不惊诧，中国学生和平请愿反对当局不抵抗日本，“友邦
”就惊诧了。这是昔日的“友邦人士”的惊诧和不惊诧。
时间过去了７６年，中国发生了翻天覆地的变化，甚至连奥运会都来到了中国。今日的
“友邦人士”对中国的事情仍然是有的惊诧，有的不惊诧，只是这惊 |

You should be well aware that the US dollar is the world's base currency,
and when the Fed lowered the US fund rate to 1% back in 2003, and held it
there for over a year, it created a huge chunk of "money" out of nowhere.
The US consumers borrowed like mad when they had access to this easy credit,
