数据看起来不错 但是这是新车型的第一年 肯定会有一些问题慢慢会暴露出来 敢当小
白鼠么 你得问问自己。这个车的发动机是新的2.5 turbo，然后这是subaru家史上最大
的车型，配的是CVT，这些都是未知数。 |

这个feature还是提供了额外的方便。 如果两个孩子都需要反着装 那就选第二排
captain seat ，进第三排从中间过道。将来有一个正过来了，tilt slide 打开的空间
还是要比中间过道方便。
当然如果两个car seat 都能放到第二排bench 60一侧 而且不影响40一侧座椅的开合移
动，那就无所谓了。 得自己权衡，总之有这个功能比没有方便，即便没有儿童座椅，
进出第三排这也是目前的最佳方式。

ALtas 和 Pilot. 对比US News 评的 ： Best 3-Row SUVs for the Money in 2018,
可以看出大家对车的第三排座的空间非常看重，所以US News里的前三名，由于空间小
都没被车板的人看重。
不过，我把安全性置于第三排空间之上，认为auto-braking， cross-trafic alert等
功能更重要些。当然车的可靠性也需要考虑。暂时还是找不到头绪。另外， 新出的
Subaru的Ascent，参数上看，也性价比很高。

1. route finding is an important skill to pick up, especially for class 3/4
scrambles.
2. I won't go up a class 3/4 mountain unless I am confident that the weather
will hold till my estimated return, down to treeline. I think you had taken
some risks in this aspect (to be honest, I did a few risky ascents too).
Next summer, if I can find something to work in CO, let's do some serious
hiking/climbing. like bagging the most interesting and challenging 14ers :-)

Following more snow Thursday-Saturday, most ascents failed on Saturday and
Sunday. By Monday Challenger was climbable. From Sunday on every day has
been sunny and warm (55ish at 14k).
As of yesterday:
* North of Mount Adams, no snow at all is visible on the Sangre 13ers.
* From Adams down to Crestone Needle, there is some snow still on north
slopes. South slopes do not appear to have any visible snow from the valley.
