tax,贷款额什么的都是按sell price定的.
提高sell price再让卖主出seller assist,实际上对卖方其实只有坏处.对买方来说,好
处是可以多贷款(你要是按20% down算得话,就是可以多贷12K),坏处是可能要多交税(至
少transaction tax是高了,property tax有的地方没区别,有的地方也要多交)
但是多数seller更容易接受这种朝三暮四的把戏. |

院是这样的，寄一份申请表给我，主要有一个Income的表格，我需要填上"Gross wage"
,"Interest & Dividends", "Self-Employment income"等等以及总收入。然后附上我
最近一年的1040表寄回去。有1040，别的证明就不用了。他们就会根据材料决定给不给
我资助。
现在我有个问题，我今年还没有1040表，也还没有整理出全部的收入。应该就把去年4
月file上去的08年的1040给他们吧。那income表中我可以填的08年的数字吗，也就跟
1040表显示的一样？还是必须得填目前的收入？——我的情况是，如果用most recent
tax year的收入申请大概就符合，用目前的工资申请好像就过了贫困线了。
另外还有一项是要圈选monthly income的。那我可以用前面填的08年的总收入除以12么
？可是他们要是打电话给我公司问我现在一个月挣多少，那就对不上了。

了给我们寄个表格过来，我们填了寄过去。因为父母退休，所以当时income填了是0.
最近收到回复，说我们收入填0不行，不可能support住院前3个月的生活，需要出具pay
stub等证明。这次父母过来探亲，主要花的是他们saving的钱。妈妈已经退休，但是

得很慢很少，所以暂时不可能办eb1。
我的问题是：我的情况下到底能否办理eb3呢？ 是否办理eb3对工作所需要的学位是有
要求的呢？因为我的职位是assistant professor，是否会被uscis认为是这个职位至少
需要phd，所以根本不批或不接受我的eb3申请呢？板上有人有类似经历么？

由于我当时哺乳和刨腹产的时候分别使用了WIC和Medicaid。递交I-485的时候考古了关
于WIC和Medicaid是否属于Public assistance，众说纷纭。最后，谨慎起见还是选了
Yes。并且附了一份简短的解释信，并说明我们现在家庭收入增加了以后不会再给米国
增加负担。
现在，不知是移民官认为我的解释不够详细还是压根儿没看到我写的那封信，RFE要解
释以及相关的支持文件（documentation supporting your statement）。不知应该怎
么准备，请有过类似经历的XDJM给个建议，谢谢了先！ |

发帖数: 1870 | 50 有个journal的editor是assistant research professor，现在正在写paper review 的
supporting letter。不知道是否要在开头介绍“assistant research professor”？
感觉这个title好像有点。。。
如果不写，直接说是某某journal的editor话，把letter放到某个university的
letterhead里又显的很不搭，因为介绍中没有提到与这个univerity的关系
而且结尾署名，用Dr.好呢还是Prof.好？
请有经验的指教 |
