【标明的成分】
柴胡、黄芩、党参、大枣、生姜、姜半夏、甘草。
【声称的功效】
解表散热，疏肝和胃。用于寒热往来，胸胁苦满，心烦喜吐，口苦咽干。临
床上也用于治疗小儿厌食症、慢性乙型肝炎、预防肝癌术后复发。
【真相】
小柴胡颗粒（冲剂、片）源自东汉张仲景《伤寒论》所载“小柴胡汤”，成
分基本相同，只是把人参改为党参。这是中成药中著名的保肝药，有很多慢性肝
病患者长期服用。但是并无确切的临床试验证据表明小柴胡汤能够治疗任何一种
慢性肝病[1]。
小柴胡颗粒（或小柴胡汤）之所以被当成保肝药，是因为其主要成分、做为
“君药”的柴胡被认为其气“轻清”，有“疏肝解郁”的功效，而另一主要成分、
做为“臣药”的黄芩则“苦寒”，能“清肝胆之热”。具有讽刺意味的是，柴胡
和黄芩现在都被怀疑具有肝毒性[2]，保肝成了损肝。柴胡的主要化学成分之一
柴胡皂苷d对人的肝细胞有较强的毒性[3]。黄芩的同属植物美洲黄芩所含的二萜

I used to think it like this too.
But later when I talked with some so called famous professors, I felt that
they felt those "industry money" cannot prove themselves and they would
prefer to be a little poor than getting money from some assocation/industry.
One young professor once said something like your professor could easily get
money from industry but he did not want to......
It seems that some "good" universities prefer some fundermental research.

however, circumstances changed, and I am currently leaning towards business/
corporate law. (merging, acquisition, etc)
one major concern of my family and of me, is what the job market is like for
gtown graduates (assuming I will be able to graduate, which I'm not
entirely sure anymore bcz of the limited funding). For a lot of people like
my parents, the risks seem too big for me to take.

自1987年以来，中国科学技术信息研究所一直承担着中国科技人员在国内外发表论文数
量和影响的统计分析工作，每年定期公布中国科技论文发表状况和趋势，并在此基础上
拓展到对中国在专利产出、科技期刊、学术图书出版等领域情况的统计分析。
一、国际论文被引用次数排名世界第4位，数量增加位次不变
2005年至2015年（截至2015年9月）我国科技人员共发表国际论文158.11万篇，论文发
表后被引用的情况，可以反映论文的影响。我国论文共被引用1287.60万次，与2014年
统计时比较，数量增加了24.2%，连续两年排在世界第4位。中国论文被引用次数增长的
速度显著超过其他国家，但我们与排在前3位的美国（6041.7万次）、德国（1417.4万
次）、英国（1404.3万次）还有差距。我国平均每篇论文被引用8.14次，比上年度统计
时提高了7.5%。世界平均值为11.29次/篇，我国平均每篇论文被引用次数虽与世界平均
值还有一定的差距，但提升速度相对较快。

协会最近有个名单，只有名单上合格的学校才有认证资格，才可以在德州做住院医。他
给我的名单上中国无一所医学院校合格。请看附件。按此类推，我们就全部无法申请德
州的program了。请大家核实并求助。

急脾气，tough working environment，straightforward, 说话狠，不喜欢拖泥带水，
the most important is to learn to have a thick skin, never cry. 培养手术室的
leadership。能工作，也能解决难题。工作attitude， 多想一步。成熟，可以handle
stressful situation.
妇产科入门难。Pgy2年级的位置比较容易换。一年级可以不是很strong的program，二

Research Assistant是给新进的有BS的菜鸟，还是有不少人是这个title. 这些人一般
很快升Research Associate
PhD+博后经验，不是很牛的话，大概很难直接找到Scientist位置，如果是领导小group
, 应该是做Associate Scientst. Assocate Scientist 和 Sr.RA属于研究类别里同样
级别，用A和B来区分。SRA升Scientist需要先升Associate Scientist. 博后留下来做
Associate Scientist/Scientist的好像不少。
估计以后进genentech竞争不会太激烈了吧，最近半年知道好几个拿到offer后没去的。
从外地relocate去压力太大了，工资待遇和搞IT的差太多，买房子抢不过他们 |

The hiring manager is looking to hire a junior Assoc or VP for their exotic
option desk in Rates. They want someone who will start doing quant/modeling
work but who will eventually move over to the trading side. Strong
communication skills is desired. Prefer someone who has exp in midcurves (
options on forward starting swaps), cms spread options, forward vol.

首先复数是实数的推广，
复数还可以被推广为quaternion
q=a+bi+cj+dk
a,b,c,d是实数
这里i^2=j^2=k^2=-1,
但是ij和ji不相等 ij=k ji=-k
q也可以写成q=c1+c2j c1,c2是复数
从复数到quaternion，对易性丢了，既q1*q2和q2*q1不相等
所以quaternion可以很自然的用矩阵来表示
再做下一步的推广，就是octonion
o=q1+q2j
这个数更奇怪，不仅不对易，还不assocative，
(o1*o2)*o3 和 o1*(o2*o3)不相等
也就是说o比q更少了一个性质
也许你会问，那octonion的推广叫什么呢？
答案是，octonion是最后一个division algebra
如果把octonion再推广成s，那么会出现这种情况

天昏地暗的。下棋之余还经常在一起插科打浑。。。当时那个网站
上还有很多NYU的学生，以及其他学校的一些数学教授(assist, assoc,
prof都有)，提起他来都很佩服，一是说起他29岁当芝加哥大学教授，
以及多次入围数学界的一些大奖最后一轮的牛事，二是佩服他在自
己那个分支里面research确实牛B。三是他为人没有一点架子。

说又弄好几篇paper了。有一次说是去MN了，关一小屋里，边喝酒边
写。这斯酷爱喝酒啊，聚会的时候也是带酒。说家里一大堆酒。
哈哈，这斯自称不会开车，所以特喜欢NYC。聚会是一穷学生开一破
车去接他。他带小女儿去的，女儿那个cute啊，现在该上学了吧。
哎，本来要睡了，看这帖子，TMD一激灵，睡意全无啊。看他当院士，
也替他高兴啊，不过他是宠辱不惊的高人，这对他应该没什么。。

number of shops to NPV of a project (the project is to set up a number of
shops). One partner owns/shares 50% of all cash inflows/outflows and so 50%
of NPV. Then I did another sensitivity analysis which assess the effect of
changes in the number of shops to the partner's share of NPV. For me, there
is no direct assocation between the partner's share of NPV and the number of
shops. the association indeed stems from that bet |
