German in 1800s. It uses extremely diluted herbal or mineral ingredients.
So by the view of conventional medicine the curative and side effects are
both negligible. (for more info see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homeopathy#Effectiveness) However, some of the stuff I've used (for allergy and itch) work for me and I've known people who swear by them. So it probably varies by people and illnesses.

discussing pollen allergy. Here is a list of things people have tried. If
you are interested, you can do a research yourself following these leads.
1. NeilMed device (some kind of Sinus Rinse bottle): rinse sinuses with
salty stuff a couple of times during the day.

“还是听那个PI说，有人把免疫系统分为两大分支，一支负责监视寄生虫病原体什么的
，另一支和过敏啥的相关；这两分支相互平衡。最近有报道有人在过敏还是哮喘患者体
内注射寄生虫（其中包括他/她自己，这让我想起了Marshall和Morris），来加强前一
个分支抑制后一个分支，结果治好了过敏还是哮喘。。。下一步他/她要做大规模的试
验。。。这个只是听说而已，等他回来了，还需要查证查证。”
那个PI回来了，问他要消息来源，他说只是听到新闻，不知道是不是正式的文章发表。

arterial blood gas on 50% oxygen reveals pH of 7.34, PCO2 of 38 mm/Hg, PO2
of 55mm/Hg and bicarbonate of 20mEq/L. I just wondering how come a asthmatic
patien can have a metabolic acidosis? i thought it is supposed to be
respiratory acidosis because of the retention of CO2. |

Since he has diabetes + CHF, BP goal should be <120/80mmHg
Beta Blocker need to be discontinued for her.
Reason not to use beta blocker:
bronchospasm – use is contraindicated in asthmatics and other lung diseases
heart failure (systolic dysfunction)
may mask insulin-induced hypoglycemia and delay recovery time ( more
pronounced with non-specific beta-blockers)
Her HR is OK though.
