on law passed by congress. "奥巴只讨好拉丁美裔的dreamer" does not increase
immigration quota so no need of Congressional approval.
For example, the asylees/refugees now can file I-485 after one year since
approval/admission needed Congressional approval (part of the Real ID act of
2005) Or the visa numbers recapture,... also need Congressional approval. |

1 year or more, but it still counted 占名额.
Just like EB/FB spill over or certain Mexican F2A, some are allowed to get
more than 名额 limit, but it is incorrect to say they don't count against
名额. |

asylee and refugee status for individuals who returns to the country from
which they sought protection from persecution. It also gives the Secretary (
in 2nd degree: and Attorney General) discretion to waive termination for
good cause.

classifications require additional documentation. Some examples are:

纽约的是什么规定
Children age 18 or younger and pregnant women who are lawfully admitted are
able to apply for NJ FamilyCare, regardless of the date that they entered
the United States. They do not have to wait five years to be eligible.
Adults who are legal permanent residents of the US must have had that status
for at least five years in order to be eligible for NJ FamilyCare.
"Qualified" status includes:
A lawful permanent resident
A refugee
An asylee
A Cuban-Haitian entrant

我承认我自己很幸运，在时间上和事件上都是。
作为一名80后，我目睹了票证时代，看过黑白彩电，扛过地窖里的大白菜，感受过某平
方（虽然那时候只有7岁。不过人恰好在北京一小段时间），小玩过股市，看到了股灾
，从电视里见证了中国经济起飞，96年台海危机，99年大使馆被炸等时刻，也同步目击
了911撞机（第二架飞机是电视直播撞进去的），参加了伊拉克战争，驻扎过阿布格莱
布中央监狱，经历了08年金融危机，顺便还走了两国基础教育系统一遍（中国是小学-
高一，美国是因为助教缘故，走过幼儿园到大学）现在还在搞美国社会劳工福利的保障
工作，所以对美国社会运行机制开始有那么一点了解。。。这些经历虽然绝对不能说把
中美两国运行机制摸了个透，但是至少觉得自己在某些角度上有那么一点点观察后的发
言权。当然，我不能保证我的意见就是对的，但是至少是我对解释世界能提供的那么一
点个人角度吧。：-）

可能能买也怪麻烦的，就不必急在一时了，所有有趁H1B,F1期间先买够的建议。
他的请大家看各个州和联邦的具体规定的建议是绝对正确的。比如说，在我们
伟大的“拥枪天堂”TN（一个电影里的说法，一个被追杀的阻击手和一个FBI
的小弟弟上我们州买一个手工好枪，最后两个人围攻坏参议院家杀人如麻的
电影）官方规定满足下面条件的就是可以合法申请Handgun carry permit 的 LPR：
•Form I-94 stamped with one of the following statuses: Asylee,
Parolee or Parole, Refugee, Asylum, HP-humanitarian parolee or PIP-public
interest parolee
换句话说有AP的等485的老中别说买枪，连手枪证也可以办。 |
