用Intel Atom处理器的系统上安装使用,目前尚不清楚苹果是否是有意在Mac OS X中禁
用了Atom处理器.
虽然苹果Mac中从未使用过Atom处理器,但实际上Atom平台和Mac OS并不存在兼容性问题
,只要经过恰当设置,Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard和10.6 Snow leopard都可以在上网本上流
畅运行.通过破解方式在PC上安装Mac OS X的所谓“Hackintosh”群体中,使用Atom上网
本安装Mac OS X一直相当流行.
因此这则消息一出不少媒体就纷纷猜测,苹果此举是否是在发力打压破解群体,保持Mac
OS X专属于苹果Mac机的“纯洁性”.
另外,在被广泛认为已是事实无疑的的苹果所谓“平板机”传言中,就一直存在着这样的
说法:苹果最初曾考虑用Intel Atom处理器驱动该款触摸平板机,但因对Atom的性能、功
耗表现并不满意而最终放弃,转而依靠去年收购的P.A. Semi公司自行开发ARM架构处理

平台集显芯片的GMA架构设计，不过据Fudzilla网站得到的消息称，Intel 2011年计划
推出的下一代32nm制程Atom处理器Cedarview的3D性能则会比Pineview高出两倍左右,另
外Cedarview的集显 GPU还将首次具备支持1080p高清硬解的实力。
由于Atom处理器的集成度日益增强，芯片组在Atom平台中所扮演的角色也将被日益边缘
化，加上Atom处理器集显性能的进一步提升，看起来到2011年Nvidia面向Atom的Ion平

虽然第二代Pine Trail Atom上网本和迷你机平台还没有发布，但后续产品已经开始浮
现了，这就是第三代“Cedar Trail”。据传闻第三代ATOM平台可完整支持DX10.1和高
清解码，这样的话NVIDIA的ION平台所占市场份额有可能会被Intel排挤得所剩无几。
Cedar Trail仍然分为上网本“Cedar Trail-M”和迷你机“Cedar Trail-D”两大部分
，其中处理器代号“Cedarview”，采用32nm新工艺制造，继续集成GPU图形核心，支持
DX10.1 API和HD高清解码。
现有第一代Atom搭配的945G系列芯片组整合了GMA 950图形核心，即将发布的Atom N450
/N470/D410/D510则会升级到源于G31的GMA 3150，不过Intel集成显卡尚未有支持DX10.
1的版本，因此不知道Cedarview的图形技术来自哪里，或许是在G45 GMA X4500HD的基
础上发展而来的。

大踏步地前进，尤其是整合的图形核心。新平台的Atom处理器开发代号Cedarview，采
用32nm HK工艺制造，集处理器、图形核心、视频解码引擎、内存控制器、显示控制器
等等于一身，FCBGA封装，尺寸22×22×2.4毫米。
新平台在桌面上首批型号有Atom D2500、D2700两款，均为双核心，但后者还支持超线
程，主频1.86GHz、2.13GHz，二级缓存1MB，热设计功耗均为10W。
内存支持抛弃DDR2而仅限于DDR3，不过还是单通道，不过最大容量放宽到4GB，最高频
率也提升到1066MHz。
现有Atom处理器搭配的图形核心GMA 500、GMA 600其实也不完全是Intel自己开发的，
而是基于PowerVR SGX535，下一代的Cedarview则会升级为PowerVR SGX545，虽不是顶
级型号但也将为Atom上网本带来明显的图形性能提升，目标是现有Pine Trail平台的两
倍。

感觉很牛掰的样子，我能看懂OT的原理（wiki上有公式，dipole trapping），不过没
明白cooling 的 atom的原理（wiki上没有公式，文字没太看懂，用 低频光给相向而来
的atom减速，怎么减的）
还有就是 single atom的image 也没看懂（好像他没写上）
如果有人看过这篇，请您给讲讲 cooling 和 image 的parts？
