)利斧杀妻案移至洛杉矶分院，14日下午进行听证会，卢志明的律师以“无罪”为老
翁进行抗辩，强调老翁无任何杀妻动机且无意伤害任何人。检察官坚持老翁的行为
“造成社区危害”；但是法官同意超过2百万的交保候审，并需要被告交出护照。
此起发生于7月26日的杀人案导致55岁妻子卢蜜契儿(Michelle Lu/译音)死亡，
检方以杀人罪和意图杀人两项罪名起诉老翁，法院在首度过堂时开立禁制令，限制
老翁不得接近卢蜜契儿32岁儿子曾济玛(Ji Ma Zeng/译音)500英呎范围内。
老翁因身体健康问题住院无法出席庭审，在辩方、检方考量老翁身体状态协商
同意下，获法官裁示把此案移送至洛县法院洛杉矶分院审理，14日开庭的时候，卢
志明的律师以“无罪”为老翁进行抗辩，并声称老翁不是“一级谋杀”，卢志明辩
护律师之一的哥斯达内达( Castaneda)表示，事发之后，是老人在第一时间报警，
并没有显示出攻击性，建议法庭同意以24万交保。

big firm with several attorneys.
All the companies I worked said they would sponsor my GC. First one I had to
contact the attorney through the secretary. Everytime I tried to let secretary
ask the process, there would be a long time waiting. From the time I requested
GC application till to my layoff, they even didn't file up the laber
application, the time was more than 1 year.

position (technology specialist, as called at some firms). this way, you can
have a good estimate of the market. maybe they will require you to take the
patent bar, maybe not. it's very firm and individual case-specific.
if you can secure such a position before you even start law school, you will
be playing a totally different game against very few competitors.

太多，就是想转patent attorn 又不想离家远。所以虽然LSAT靠的还行，但只申请了这
个勉强挤进100的烂校。
当时的就业状况和现在也很不一样啊。我有博士，讲中文，虽然是烂校，intern倒不难
找。在当地一家比较大的所做了两个夏天的intern。如若不是今年这状况断不应该没有
offer。
现在简历投了一大堆，基本都是瞎投而已，所有职位都要求几年几年的工作经验。所以
有以下几种考量，有经验的请给指点一下有没可行的。谢啦！
1.volunteer - 这是学校一教授提议的。可是怎么找olunteer呢？求职的时候直接说不
给钱没关系，我就是想跟您学习学习？
2.patent agent 或者paralegal， patent legal secretary - 其实连这种职位都要求
几年经验的。我的法学位申请此类职位有优势吗？
3.LLM - 这个基本实用性不强吧。好处是如果申请一个好的LLM也许可以弥补我差劲法
学院的出身，再者等再毕业经济状况总该好转一些？就是又得花钱 ：（
