The boy was referred to see me due to having "auditory hallucinations"---"
ringing sounds in his ears". He lives with his mother and 3 younger siblings
. His father has never been in his life. His mother has her own health
problems and is on multiple medications. Mother was quite sleepy when she
brought the boy to see me, and she states her sleepiness is mainly caused by
her medications. After the boy told me "I hate holidays", I asked my nurse
did a quick test for him and made the diagnosis.

This boy's mother has mental illness, so after ruled out drug abuse, his PCP
referred him to see me for his "auditory hallucinations" without checking
other labs for him.

Normal aging and early stage Alzheimer's sometimes are hard to differentiate
each other. But time will tell. Auditory hallucinations, however, are not a
part of aging.

前面的研究说了当altered sensory experience will cause neural
reorganization. in deaf people, the
redundant auditory cortex may be recruited to vision cortex to expand the
visual sensory experience.
but what they don't know is if there is any retinal changes.
so they recruited some normal people and deaf people and used optical
coherence optometry which is a
device to monitor retinal structures in vivo and real time.
they found those deaf people have larger neural...

I was looking into comparison for different tires, and found the following
useful:
http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/839178-rs-3-vs-z1ss-vs-595-rs-r
Initial grip (when tire is new): RS3 > Rival = Z2 > RE11 = Z1SS > 595RSR
Longevity (wear): Z1SS = RE11 >> RS3 >> 595RSR
Longevity (heat cycling): Z1SS > RE11 > RS3 > 595RSR
End of life grip: RE11 > Z1SS = Z2 > RS3 = 595RSR
Tire feel/feedback: RE11 = Z1SS > Z2 > Rival = 595RSR > RS3
Tire feedback (auditory): RE11 > Rival = Z1SS = Z2 >> RS3 = 595RSR
