的，他告诉我这样对transmission的保养比较好
关于transmission fluid渗油和axle seal的关系，我不确定。但是我的mechanics说
“The transmission fluid will fall out of the transmission when you remove
the axles and the fluid will need to be replenished.” 这说明axle和
transmission fluid是有接触的。至于接触的地方在哪里，是不是在seal的的地方，我
就不知道了。但是我可以下次问问mechanics。

会累得够呛。6点开车出发，拿了票去看了电影Immortals，希腊神话的动作片，情节比
较弱，看完了快9点，正好进场。开场之前放音乐就感觉音响效果不够好，暖场乐队
Adelitas Way的演唱就很难挺清楚，唱了一个小时，后面还号召大家抽大麻什么的，有
够傻。不过快结束时候一个有50岁的大姐就在过道上面抽大麻，等自己的儿子女儿过来
... 后排也有抽东西的，多半也是大麻...
开始之前有人拉了条幅"Slash is in the house"，可惜照不清楚，演出到后来就看不
到了，估计被保安撤掉了。
Axl Rose按照惯例放大家鸽子一个小时，11点多才出来。不知道是因为后来重新调了声
音，Axl的演唱倒是基本都能听清。唱新专辑的歌就在大屏幕显示很多不通顺的中文，
Chinese Democracy这首放对应的中文歌词，包括“我有更多的手淫”...

The Audi Torsen system is purely mechanical and "gives up" when an axle has
no resistance. It will therefore put all the torque to the path of lowest
resistance and spin the wheels.
The BMW system is based on a "freewheely" differential which relies on
electronic sensors to apply brakes on the spinning wheels. Kind of like the

一年前，我在换油时发现前轮外侧的CV boot裂开了，当时里程是63K，大家亲眼见过哪
个车63K CV boot完蛋的吗？今天见识了吧，当时没零件换，就用duct tape保了一下，
坚持了两个月。
感谢中国制造，现在换整个drive axle的费用比让修车铺里的low life换CV boot低很
多，亚马孙上定了整个drive axle assembly，92刀免运费，很快收到，又托了很久才
动手。
因为没有冲击板手，我只好先把轮子卸下，把轮子中间的塑料圆片取下，把axle nut的
凹坑顶圆（见Fig 1），再把轮子装回去，这样axle nut露出来，就可以用大扭矩轻松
把axle nut拧下来（见Fig 2），一定要让车轮落地再拧，否则变速器受大力矩会短命。 |

Bought some tools from a hardware store and removed the
two damaged axles. Then removed one of the four ball bearing
assemblies that seems be damaged. Tested it, and found that
it was damaged indeed - probably crashed balls or dents in
the ball track. I did not dig further what was damaged for the
ball bearing, because I have to buy a new one to replace it

昨天去garage检查车，因为开车时车轮发出咔哒咔哒的声音。
经检查发现前轮乘客侧axle开裂。
更换了axle assembly问题解决了。
顺便问一下是否被宰：part $80 + labour $75/hour x 1.5 hour = $200 in total.
高高兴兴回到家后看收据发现更换的axle为non-ABS的，于是开始觉得被蒙了，因为买车前去滴乐儿那里做inspection的时候问过他们，他们说这辆车有ABS。
根据目前的调查结果，有ABS的车换上non-ABS的axle后会导致ABS不work。突然对这辆车是否有ABS产生了怀疑。
据说有ABS的车轮附近应该有个speed sensor。早晨撑起车找了一气还是不确定，遂照照片请大家帮忙鉴定一下。谢谢！ |

mechanical multi-plate differential。

发帖数: 15913 | 50 是drive axle靠近差速器一侧的皮碗裂了，不是变速器漏液，国内人工便宜，让人把这
个drive axle内侧和外侧的皮碗都换了，人工费差不多，这个drive axle是被一根很长
的tapered pin横穿在differential上的，必须把这个pin先取下来再拔drive axle，
subaru在国内不长见，小二可能不知道。
第二个照片里的象过滤器一样的东西是变速器的过滤器，美国有卖，你这车看来是AT。 |
