方舟子打假的影响较大、面较广。
我即不可能全部知道，也参与较少。
十几年前基因皇后事件，是早期我参与签名支持方舟子的一件。那明显是造
假，真敢把一个技术员叫成皇后，为在中国吸引资金开公司 ，挺过分的。
肖传国事件，虽然我对其中一些觉得有问题，也支持方舟子，不过，对于肖的
手术是否有效、是否是其主张的部分起效，我认为只能医生们做研究确定，外界、包括
记者调查，都不是下定论的途径。
所以，一般来说，我的意见不如方舟子的尖锐。
这次可能例外。方舟子质疑李开复是否1988到1990年做过助理教授、英文的助
理教授翻译成中文副教授是否合适、是否梅隆大学最年轻的助理教授。
我推测，有很大的可能性，李开复没有做过助理教授。

说我因为去年没有insurance不让我renew，还要suspend我的registration6个月。我给
他们看geico的proof of insurance也没用，因为他们说只认eletronic confirmation
from insurance company。Geico又不肯发backdated confirmation，说改地址也只能

们的工作人员给我打电话说有些信息有问题，我买的那个价格不对，给了我一个新的报
价。我觉得新报价太贵了，打算去买个别的公司的，那我可以选择生效日期从10号开始
吗？不然中间会有10几天的gap。。

UC made significant pension changes in 2013 with some of the changes
backdated to 2008. The 7/1/2016 change is small, but if you can, get in
before 7/1.
p.s. I have been with uc for 25 years. No other university pension plan
beats uc, and umich does even offer a defined benefit plan. |

最后在今年4月record了并拿到房契。问题是期间的地产税任按旧价算，由于我们买的
价比旧价低了将近一半，导致期间的地产税多交了不少。现在我们想要问county要回，
county说record的日子就算title transfer的日子，之前多付的不能退，除非backdate
transfer，让我们回去找title company.现在title company拒绝承认是他们的错，不
接受我们的要求。

到这个billing cycle开始的那一天，这样费用就变成每分钟15 cents了。
我有过出了帐单才发现打了国际长途的经历，打电话给客服让他给我按这个world
connect的rate重新算上一个帐单的费用都成功了 |

家里老人在打电话回国的时候，用的是电话卡，可能中途断了，要让输电话号码的时候
，还是输了国内的号码打了电话（这是我们的推测，不然我们打电话卡打那么久了肯定
不会弄错的），等打完电话，线路被suspend了，才现发原来打了国际的。
打去att，说要要754刀。。。说现在月结单还没出来，只能放一个国际电话的plan上去
才能reduce费用，于是放了。
我记得很久以前打电话去block internet service和international call的，但查了一
下，说是data plan是blocked状态，但international call没block，说是没看到记录
要求block。不知道这种情况还能不能等月底账单出来后去argue。
大家有这样的经验吗，有成功免赔的吗？谢谢啦！

10年，见附件（我7月关了我的第一张C1卡，8月报告上显示关闭，注意"This account
is scheduled to continue on record until Aug 2023.
"）。这期间不影响你的AAoA. 10年后我相信你其它卡的年龄都很长了，不在乎这个吧。
再说了，AMEX有backdating，不管你多少张AMEX卡，open date都按第一张amex卡开卡
年份和实际开卡月份算。你只要有一张比较早的amex卡，很多年后再开一张amex卡，能
一下子提高你aaoa好多好多 |

张就变成2013年1月的了！ |
