and seeking to come out.
After the fabulous hikes in Kauai, i felt like i cannot stop hiking. back
at OK, i complained to a friend i made in Kauai that i had nothing to do
here over weekends, no mountains to hike, no decent trails that i could go
on and hike for hours without intersecting to a train track or cement road.
i had no vacation days left for this year, so i cannot just take off and go

sleeping bag/pad/liner. with my backpack still unpacked from last weekend’s
trip, i spent a much shorter time on packing this time. just added in food
and water. i brought J’s foldable saw and strapped the i-am-not-a-bear-or-

packing. we introduced each other. Tag, the one in white T-shirt. Brian, one
in red T-shirt and black hair. Came over Chris, short and looked very
strong and he pointed to a guy sitting by the camping table packing,, said”

之前在国内的时候是个hiking狂热分子，基本每周都会出行。看到muyang之前的帖子有
提到 backpacking装备的问题，这里和大家分享一下自己的看法：
我们先不妨看看想部队里的野战军人，拉练时每天行军40余里，仔细想想他们的装备无
非就是一双解放鞋，一身军装，一根背包带，一床军备，但却走的气宇轩昂。举这个例
子并不是说装备不重要，而是强调在 backpacking（或者说任何outdoor项目）的重点
在人，而不是装备。完全依赖装备，以为穿上一身户外装备就从此脱胎换骨的想法是大
错特错，甚至是危险的。既然人是主体，那么为什么在这对装备还多费口舌？在我的理
解看来，装备是为了帮助人更安全，更容易，更舒服的抵达目的。同样是装备徒步40
公里，用背包带的话，肩膀会勒出血痕，选择有背负系统的登山包就可以免受其苦；解
放鞋徒步肯定没问题，但舒适度，对脚踝的保护一定不如专业登山鞋。大意就是，我们
不怕吃苦，但别自找苦吃。
言归正传，backpacking最重要的装备我觉得有两个一个是鞋，一个是包。

backpacking meal is, it is better to have backpacker's meal on the trail.
Otherwise, it's not backpacking at all.For backpacking, weight control is
key. Normal food and Fancy snacks are too heavy and bulky to carry.

i live in Tulsa, OKlahoma. so now i am thinking Big Bend Natinoal Park or
our local Ouachita National Forest (it has many backpacking trails as well).

experiences in Adirondack and YellowStore NP, the brand is not that
important.
In my opinion, like all the other sports and equipment, the most important
thing for the boot is to FIT your feet!!
Since backpackers carry heavy load, it needs to be sterdy. 中高绑 is
preferred. Another major difference between heavy duty hiking boot and light
duty ones, is the undersore (鞋底） -- It needs to be stiff to support the
weight.

开始真正尝试backpacking，一来就遇到气候变化有点狼狈，但是能学到不少东西，也
增加了不少的乐趣和友谊。总结一下和backpacking的新手或即将进入backpacking的朋
友们，特别是女同胞们共勉。
1. 背30lb+的包跟背10lb至15lb的包爬山还是有很大区别的，平时的dayhiking通常
是背10lb至15lb的包，觉得没什么，等背30lb+的包的时候觉得真的很重啊，每一步都
好累。主要是肩膀比较弱，所以如果重量能集中在下端会部来承受多的重量会觉得好些
。这在选包的时候也很重要，一定要加重量试背，觉得肩背舒服和重量压在髋骨部分为
好。据说也是根据体重的1/3或1/4来计算，所以大部分女生应该是能承受30lb至40lb的
重量，再重就有点受不了了。

backpack的驴友一起进行3-7天的backpack trip.
我本人在华盛顿州,之所以想找湾区朋友是因为飞到SFO后可以一起Carpool,避免租车(
如在当地租车,大部分时间车都停在trailhead,实在不划算.)如果你碰巧预订了camping
permit,而且可以share,那是最好不过.如果没有预订,大家可以到trailhead等当天的
Permit.目前计划是走Tuolumne Meadows-Sunrise - Merced Lake- Vogelsang loop.
也可加一些dayhike或附近backpack路线.
关于本人:70后,男,热爱outdoors,有两年在华盛顿州的backpack经验.

发帖数: 9785 | 37 一般强度不太大的backpacking都会尽量多带点东西，同时睡觉的时候，贴身的物品在
帐内放在身边，占一个人的位置。所以通常一个人买双人，两个人买三人的。条件艰苦
的backpacking或者是submitting都尽量会减少重量，所以马大师才会考虑单人帐。但
是极限的帐篷和普通backpacking的还是有区别，极限的为了节约重量，支撑系统都比
较简单，一般需要把帐杆扎在地里才能撑起来，普通的帐篷撑完直接可以放在地上，这
个区别是很大的，在比较硬的地面上很多极限帐篷非常难搭。我已经很多很多年没出去
backpacking过了，以前知道最轻巧的是hubba，现在说不定有更轻的。
不管怎么轻巧，易用也是要考虑到的一个因素，所以去户外玩得多的再给马大师出出主

发帖数: 2728 | 38 周末去了一趟frazier park里的一个boy scout campground。beginner backpacking。
3.5mile单程吧，只有1000 feet gain。不过那里海拔稍微高点，好像是6400 feet，结
果吹的风又大又冷，就临时决定吃了午餐后退回山下的瀑布旁的小平地上露营，不然山
上风太大，还没发篝火，露营没有篝火，还是露营吗？
晚上山上的话，可能估计都要到30一下。在小山谷里，估计30多点。我新买的睡袋,
REI MOJAVE +10 在这种情况下当然没问题。倒是我自己缝了liner，觉得还是应该买现
成了，起码网上买的应该比自己用旧床单缝的要轻吧。。。不过时间紧急，凑合就是了
。
我背的包有30磅重，好像也没带什么。就是第一次backpacking，很多东西都不是朝着
轻的方向准备的。帐篷和睡袋倒是够轻了，tarp却又重了（买大了）；还有炉子什么的
，都是car camping的那套，虽然已经比较小了，相对backpacking来说，还是大。
下次需要买个backpacking的椅子。还要记得带一本书啥的。 |
