Delete provisions from the Florida Constitution that authorize the
Legislature to regulate or prohibit the ownership, inheritance, disposition
and possession of real property by aliens ineligible for citizenship. This
was originally inserted into the constitution to affect Chinese and Asian
immigrants, Florida is one of the last states to repeal such a law. If
passed by the electors, this proposal would go into effect January 6, 2009.
