每当偶玩的游戏服务器当机的时候，偶都会默默地折叠着一张方纸，耐心地等待游戏上
线，边考虑这个问题。 和其他的哲学家一样，偶经常会有一种思考的冲动， 尤其是在
一个春天的下午，在饱餐了一顿HAWAIIAN BARBECUE以后，偶喜欢拿出自己多年来反复
使用的一个看上去就复杂无比的FLOW CHART拈在手里，斜靠在椅背上，出神地凝望窗外
， 陷入沉思之中。这个时候就显示出搬到湾区的好处来了。以前偶每次望出去， 看到
的都是本郡的法院大楼， 灰扑扑地全无特色。在这里居然能够看到海。有时候有几只
灰白色的大鸟飞过， 想必就是传说中的海鸥。不知道为什么湾区的云流动地很快，显
示出很多不同的形状来，单是预测这个就有无穷的乐趣，不至于盯着那灰色的外墙就慢
慢睡着了。总是会有不知趣的人来打扰的，这个时候的关键就在于一个慢字。偶缓缓地
把手里的表格放下，用铅笔轻轻地写下你是猪三个草字，然后就笑容满面地站起来了。
如果一个人仅仅从这一点上就推定自己是个哲学家， 就未免太武断专行了。偶的 认知

1， mission Point 位于Sunnyvale。 但是选择这个公寓是刚来湾区，发现这家还比较
便宜。一个月1530刀，一年lease有一个月免费，算下来一个月1300多。 而且离lg上班
地方近。
一年后搬出来。Deposit全拿不回来，还倒贴300. 忍气吞声就走了。现在想起来很很气
愤，特别是那个老印，态度不是一般恶毒。
小区环境印度人为主，游泳池小，健身房旧。室外停车。后来觉得是个档次很low的apt。
2， Elan，位于北san jose。比较新，环境不错，适合散步。而且还哟business room
。我们租了2bedroom。走到时候扣完所有deposit，但是打电话argue一下，一下子拿回
来了一半。这时候知道每次搬出去都要为deposit费一番力气了。
3，最满意的公寓 North Park。位于北San Jose。房间不大，但是那个floor plan太赞
了。岳式的， 楼上的书房还可以当成另外的卧室；就是那种最普通的one bedroom，那

前些时候到位于Austin西南的Driftwood，造访那家著名的Salt Lick BBQ，在德州，当
然主要在Austin附近，已经品尝过几家代表性的烧烤店，包括Iron Works Barbecue&#
8206; 和 Stubb's Bar-BQ Restaurant，觉得都不错的。BBQ是德州文化的重要

and she is so adorable. I had to pick her up and took her home for a night.

夹在两栋筒子楼中间。韩国烧烤，稍微贵了点，但是菜式正宗，气氛
很好，装修得也不错。唯一美中不足的是Barbecue用的是燃气火，太
旺了点，味道也不如用木炭火烤出来的好。

房型：2室2卫
地点：2000 S. Eads St.Arlington, VA
租金：970/月（不包括网络和水电）
这个房子从11月24日开始空出。我的合同到2013年8月，但是要提早离开。
这个地方中国学生很多，因为交通方便，购物方便，公寓管理很正规，也很安全。
具体：走1-2个街区就到Crystal City 地铁站，有蓝线和黄线两条地铁线。
购物：走路到Costco，Marshals，Bestbuy 和Pentagon Fashion Center。周边还有CVS
，Riteaid和7/11等便利店。
我的两位室友都是女生，一位在媒体实习，另一位在研究机构工作，她们都很开朗，生
活习惯很好，而且做得一手好菜。对我来说，这绝对是个Plus！
主卧自带洗手间，大壁橱和一个储物间，所以你可以有很大的私人空间。
