.1 will also upgrade baseband (modem) firmware from 04.10.01 to 04.11.08.
since SHSH doesn't work for baseband signature, once the baseband firmware
gets upgraded, there is no way going backward. |

你要是3G，随便刷了，想降回去直接刷也行。不需要备份SHSH。你现在如果还是3.1的
baseband，直接itunes升级以后红雪越狱＋刷ipad固件＋超雪解锁了。不过3G跑4实在
有点勉强，何况没有多任务和桌面背景。其实无非是多了个文件夹功能。 刷个大神版
的3.13固件吧。 |

Speed Serdes tranceiver blocks/IOs + On board support. Make sure the speed
rating and IOs of the FPGA meets your requirement.
You might not need the FXT, I think for Baseband DSP (matlab algorithm
prototyping, the SXT kit would be more than enough). Honestly, don't get
some obscure and cheaper dev kits which is so complicated or support lacking
that it would require the same amount of effort to get the platform working |

最后决定还是采用DSP+ARM的方案，DSP上做PHY的信号处理，ARM上做L2/RLC/RRC，这样
把以前的一些开发经验可以用上。
现在有个新问题是，GNU Radio能否移植到TI的DSP上，这样可以利用许多Open Source
资源，而我所知是GNURadio一般运行于PC平台，似乎没有在DSP上运行的，是这样么？

技术难度倒是不高，网上教程很多，刷成砖头的几率非常小。
另：越狱和baseband更相关，5.16.02的baseband解锁要升到IPAD的baseband,GPS功能

both of them. 华为designs its own network baseband chips and kirin chips but
中兴 only knows to buy from third party vendors like Nokia and Ericsson.
China already has world class IC design companies. Network Baseband chip and
smartphone CPUs are already hardest chips to design. The real bottleneck is
IC manufacturing. Even Kirin 970 needs to be made in TMSC 10nm lines.
