【观察者网 肖晟仕/编译】据美媒9月17日报道，随着豪华公寓数量的增加和租金的上
涨，洛杉矶市区的空房率已经达到了12%。这是洛杉矶市区17年来达到的最高空房率，
也是洛杉矶其余地区空房率的3倍。
KPCC的调查报告显示，现在洛杉矶市区住房的供应量已经超越了需求，在超过21000家
市场出租的房屋中，约有2000家空置。因此，房东为愿意签署长期租赁的租户提供很大
的折扣和优惠。包括长达几个月的免租金和一年的免费停车。尽管如此，房东依然很难
找到租客来填满自己的房屋。
房地产研究集团CoStar的高级市场分析师Steve Basham称，两位数的空缺率只是暂时的
，随着租金的降低，租房供应将在2019年左右赶上富裕市民的租用需求。

已经不记得第一次知道Barkley Marathons，到底是在哪本书或是越野跑杂志上。只大
概知道这是每年在田纳西州东部一个叫Frozen Head的省立公园举办的越野赛，跑者们
除了要在规定时间内跑完100英里赛道，还要每一圈寻宝似地从7-13本旧书上收集对应
参赛号码的书页，以证明自己确实严格遵照了千变万化错综复杂的比赛路线。这比赛既
没风景，又没标记，选手们常常在四月早春田纳西的凄风冷雨里苦苦寻觅挣扎，拖着僵
尸般疲惫麻木的躯壳，迷路，失温，伤痕累累……然而几乎所有的努力都注定付之东流
，这比赛的完赛率仅1%，从1986年举办到现在，近30年来只完赛了14个人。什么鬼？！
我才不要参加这种比赛。

──初期佛教聖典中的宗教競爭與詮釋效應

提要
與佛教同屬於新興宗教思潮的沙門陣營的耆那教，不僅是佛教初興當時的主要競爭對手
之一，同樣也為佛教傳統建構中的宗教制度發展等帶來刺激與滋養。雖然彼此教義有差
異，但是由於雙方實際興起與發展的時代重疊，宗教術語亦甚為接近，在宗教文化共構
處甚多的情形下，學界戲稱兩者為「姊妹教」。礙於彼此宗教競爭，佛教看待耆那教的
態度與耆那教理解自身宗教傳統的心態不同，從而「佛教聖典中的耆那教」與「耆那教
聖典中的耆那教」之間的兩種形象存有差異。若是如此，初期佛教聖典所見的宗教競爭
暨隨之引發的詮釋效應等諸問題，值得注意。
