Now I am in the train heading to Burlington, Vermont for an interview
tomorrow. I just finished the interview at Baystate Medical Center.
Actually I nearly missed the train because I was not paying attention to the
announcement. The super nice officer in the train station took me in his
car and helped me to catch up the train. I am so thankful.
So let’s talk about Baystate Medical Center now.

麻州产科/新生儿护理的医院是有分级的，规定了什么级别的医院应该达到什么标准，
三级以下的医院在提供服务的时候有许多限制——比如，小于32周必须由三级医院接生
。一共有9个三级医院：

state hospital开车10几分钟吧，学区比较起来算好的，而且上高速方便。Wilbraham
的学区也不错。北边的Amherst也很好，老中也不少。 |

发帖数: 905 | 31 今天10/20/2013 我参加了BayState Marathon，以3:56一下跑完了我的首马。靠年龄和
性别的优势，我BQ了。跑完后，与家人和朋友腐败了一下，然后写报告，一点没有倦意
，我想这大概就是范进中举的疯狂。
赛前
大概俩周的Tapering。最后一周跑过三次，最长2mile。周五晚上吃了五碗白饭（大概
一斤），饭量不大的我自嘲真有跑马天赋，整个一个饭桶！周六中午去意大利店Mangia
Mangia吃了“Frutti de Mare“，那顿海鲜空心粉让我一俩天不吃饭没问题。不过晚
餐我还是为我儿子包了饺子，以谢他专程从纽约赶回来为我助威，当然我又大吃一顿。
晚上没睡好，半夜被手机吵醒，一直琢磨是不是上安眠药，不过没敢。早上5：30起床
，洗澡，吃一个鸡蛋，几片面包，一个香蕉，一杯牛奶加咖啡，还吃一颗止痛片（有咖
啡因）。6：30上路。赛前决定7.2，12.4, 17.3, 22.5时吃gel。我用GU的有咖啡因的
gel。我训练时尽量不吃或少吃gel。
比赛
我是提前40分到达赛场。排队上厕所，一切顺利。然后走走跑跑，选择9分pace起跑线

发帖数: 6701 | 37 2015年9月13号VIA末班车，当时实力大概在335-340吧，之前4周的半马因为坡大天热目
标略高把自己跑伤了，那时候工作压力也特别大，基本没有好好休息，经验不足，赛中
也犯了各种错误，15迈多之后受伤掉速，连芝麻也没Q成，3：49：27，结果就是催生了
这个凤马。
之后恢复了差不多一个半月，但仍然忿忿不平想再跑一次。10/18的baystate就想跑，
但太接近了，对伤势无益，只好作罢。后来想到CIM，但已经报满了，只好找别人的号
跑一个。但是后来师父姚明把他拿到的纽马的bib给我了，也没啥训练，首马一个半月
之后一共恢复跑了不到60迈吧，就直接去跑了。前面跑的略快，后面15迈的桥之后基本
上又fade了，结果是3：57：18，但也特别高兴。
跑爽了纽约之后CIM就无意全马了，本来想帮杰克pace他美女徒弟的，可惜没沟通好，
我的错。临时pace了大使的美女徒弟，帮着Katie首马B了个Q。
看了一下log，纽马（11/1) 之后11天开始练interval的，第一次小试3*800，但因为没
经验，也对手表的测速没谱，瞎跑的。直到好几次以后才发现，逆时针跑跑道手表带在

中，我被破格越届提拔，成了我国同届生中第一名正教授。后来又受聘于卫生部心血管
专家咨询委员会副主任和全国心血管病防治领导小组副组长。历史又把我这个在中山工
作几十年而从未进过院长室的普通医生推上了副院长之职。我实感盛名之下其实难符。
但在与林贵院长短短数年的共事中，我深为他的敬业与奉献所感动。他任院长作风正派
，品德高尚，团结学术老前辈，鼓舞提携新秀。他对自己的介入放射专业无限热爱，为

of IMGs in their path program. It's a shame they rejected your application
and it seems they have never had any CMG residents in their program, but it'
s their loss! I am wondering if I graduated in 2004, does that count as
within 5 or 6 years? |

the PD at this time, and if you show him your passion...who knows what will
happen. Tell us what the response is if you do make that move! I heard
Baystate hospital does have a lot of patients and is the largest hospital in
West MA. |
