better than average might be a higher bar than you think. i heard in LA
where bball is so popular, average is almost awesome for casual players. |

多，但观众比篮球多多了。这个衍生出来的产品开发，门票收入和电视转播的收入比篮

to a few of their games, saw some good players. there's this one korean kid
who's 5'10 tops and did a jackhammer dunk in a game, also saw these old
guys (40s) who supposedly played for the korean and taiwanese teams, they

friends' team in the playoffs |

recruiting wars. Not many other schools pay as much attention to women's
basketball as those 2 do. Thus some teams may happen to have strong year
or 2, but in a long term only Tenn and UConn can dominate (Texas Tech and
La Tech are 2 other schools focus on women's basketball a lot). Duke actually
improve a lot in recruiting since their 99 final appearance and seems

NCAA women's bball 最近几年有相当大的发展。部份的原因大概是NBA的兴旺，
爱好体育的风潮日炙。。。NCAA MAN's game...ETC
uconn刚好赶上了好时机。在UCONN之前，TENN和 la tech 等已经dominate多年了但始终
没有象UCONN今天这样的气候。当95年UCONN第一次pefect season
而且借助总部在CT的ESPN的宣传开始吸引全国性的注意力。
别的学校不象上面两个学校这样投入，但只要稍微努力一点，象OU这样的例子才六年前th
eir program还差点挂掉, 后来换了一个high school coach, come from nowhere, 今年
也闯入决赛了。 |
