I went to 1st grade before my 5th birthday. I did have excellent academic
performance, went to Beiqing, got phd at 26. But I did not have an oz of
leadership in me, so to speak.
Now I have two kids. My older kid (7) read at 5th grade level and was
admited in gifted class (tested by state as IQ > 145), but I would never
allow her to go through that - being the baby in the class all the time.
Just my 2 cents. |
