TACO BELL有一款7 LAYER BURRITO，里面包的全是米饭，卷心菜，蕃茄，豆子，牛油果
酱等等，素的。一个才1.99，吃得非常饱，一点都不垃圾。
墨西哥很多FAST FOOD比美国的要健康多了。
不过我的墨西哥同事们对外面买的所谓墨西哥美食都遥遥头，他们一致认为，家里面自
己妈妈奶奶们做的菜才是最正宗墨西哥美食。
我感觉，老莫们家庭观念很强，穷是穷，上进心没有多少，得过且过就好。但是很刻苦
很辛苦地攒钞票，问他们，如果有年终奖用来干嘛，无一例外都是吃喝玩乐。开着个破
车，一堆人挤在一个小HOUSE里，热闹呗，无所谓。
前几天看到一个墨西哥的孕妇，自己做个FULL TIME的银行里的小工作，人也不太老，

拿跑百米为例，如果随机选个大样本，用跑完花多少时间来衡量"performance"，那么
这个分布基本上会是bell curve。但如果用拿了多少块奥运奖牌来衡量“performance"
，显然不可能是normal curve。前者衡量的是能力，后者衡量的是社会环境所界定的成
就。
Robert Frank 那本讲 winner-take-all 的书1995年就出版了，说的道理非常相似，这
次不知道是这两个心理学家哗众取宠，还是NPR这个piece给整歪了。 |

一样的吃法，吃不了几个就觉得够了，一大袋要吃很久，所以后来很少买了。前一阵在
某本美食杂志上看到这种填馅之后再烤的做法，马上联想到了青椒醸肉。青椒醸肉我做
不好，每次都觉得既不好看味道也一般，这个小彩椒醸肉倒是可以试试~等买回原料却
想不起来在哪本杂志上看到的做法了，于是便有了这个自创的版本。烤好的小彩椒味道
超过我的预期，咸咸甜甜的。而且因为加了乳酪，肉馅的口感很松软湿润。连平时极少
主动吃菜椒，大人劝了才会别别扭扭吃一丁点儿的薯条小朋友都一口气吃了3个。最近
一次做的时候，薯条看见我在给彩椒填馅就眉开眼笑地说：“我喜欢菜椒配肉一起吃~”

Solomon Elem. school in northwest side is the first one in CPS to teach
mandarin Chinese, I have been told the school is very good and getting
better and better.
