insurance loss has too much "water".
two similar fender bender accidents, can be just a $200 property damage
claim from one driver, but the driver can also go to a doctor and file a
$5000 injury claim.
you can't conclude the driver claimed $5000 injury because his car is
not as safe. you can only conclude he has a very weak neck or very good
lawyer/doctor team. |

btw：第一次买车，上班单程17～18 mile，主要是高速，个人偏好美式大车。
autocheck显示情况如下：
1. 第一任是作为leased vehicle；2009年5月 36k mile时转到第二任车主；2010年3月
60k mile时转到第三任车主。现在跑了106k mile；
2. 2010年5月13有个小事故。车主说“It was a fender bender and I had the
repairs done at a Ford dealership”。现在车子还是clean title。
以下时卖主原话：
“2006 Ford Fusion SE.
Silver exterior with black, cloth interior
Automatic windows, locks, and starter (nice for cold days).
106,000 Miles.
Newer tires and battery.

吧。
首先，安全性并不能一概而论的，要分阶段来说。
1、低速碰撞。一般指相对速度15mph以下的轻微碰撞，很多地方也较fender bender，
意思就是只会碰弯钢板，不会碰到主体结构，成员也不会受伤。这种事故的发生率是最
高的，也是最头疼的：因为你唯一要deal的问题就是修body。
2、中低速碰撞。一般指相对速度15-30mph左右的碰撞，如果是侧面的话可能会使乘员
受轻伤，如果正面的话会少量影响车辆的主体结构，但正面气囊一般不会弹出（不绝对
）。这种事故发生机率不低，而且这里面有个问题：如果车辆是吸能结构的，那经过这
么一次中低速正面碰撞，则车体会有少量的吸能形变，那么如果继续开这个车的话下次
再发生事故的时候车体的吸能能力就会减弱，可能危险性会更高。而把车卖掉？估计没
人舍得吧！而对于较坚硬的车体，虽然可能乘员会受点轻伤，但车几乎不会有任何形变
，有舍有得吧。
3、中速碰撞。一般指相对速度30-55mph的，这种速度是吸能车体+气囊最拿手的，一般
好点设计的吸能车体+气囊基本能保证正面碰撞时成员不受... 阅读全帖 |

，和fender bender相关程度低。所以比较死亡率就很大程度上比较了半死不活率。
不管你有多少种假设情况，统计结果还是有最后发言权。

盯着啊？

LZ不知道此版早就超过Joke版了吗？我一般来这是看日托的笑话的。
裂的部分是塑料的Bumper Cover，坑的部分是Quarter Panel，是个单独的部件，可以
整体更换。这两个本身不是大问题。
但是，Quarter Panel和A柱之间及和Hood之间的间隙全部不对了，Frame Damage的可能
性很大，绝对不是简单的Fender Bender，车主没说实话，最好放弃。 |

GTI跟s2000换开了一段时间，可以写个车评了。一月前买的2017白色GTI sport，买白
色因为耐脏和最能突出黑色和红色accent，价格没砍太狠，4700 off msrp，送
lifetime powertrain warranty。GTI trim比较实惠（不过好像economy车都不像PMBA
那样package地狱），最低档裸奔（但是有carplay, 2017年新加），sport加xenon头灯
，keyless start，运动package这种初级premium装置，SE加皮椅天窗音响自动头灯雨
刷这种标准premium装置，最高配再加导航，可调悬挂和智能巡航。我最在意的东西
sport都有了，除了皮椅，最后想想也不值得为皮椅多花3k买一堆其他不在乎的东西。
